I was tired but unable to talk myself into sleeping, then I decided to watch this video. My body relaxed and my mind felt peaceful almost right from the beginning. By the end my mouth was grinning just a little. I loved the beautiful skills of the artist making the tea pot and the amazing skills of the video creator. Thank you! @@reepl7514 The imagination of the intricate steps required to render this version of the form. After some searching I agree it's an iconic example of the Xi Shi teapot shape, but that's not the standard or common form in the West, so was unfamiliar to me. My expression was also admiration for the skill and craftsmanship.

Purple clay is a different type of ore. I think "Yixin purple clay teapot" is more like a term due to the significance of the clay and related techniques / traditions. Kinda confusing
