lll i also wish a different end for him, but i wanna say that clary did it, she tried to help her brother but we must remember that jonathan is like this, nobody can change him, not even clary

i think she had a chance to save him, she gave up and i hate it. Jonathan was really sensible in his last scene i cried sm he deserved a better life

the way she comforted him in his last moments was so hard to watch. things could have ended so differently for him, but he always had that darkness in him.

What I don’t get is why she couldn’t create a rune to purge the demon blood from him and wipe his memory to live a normal life with love and not have the clave or anyone else especially the angels to interfere with that yes he did bad things but he didn’t know better this was the first time clary could really understand him when she was dark and him could understand what real family love is sister and brother love is

Her powers dont work like that. I havent seen the show, but in the books she once tells another character that she cant chose what she sees. The runes either come to her or they dont she cant make specific runes at specific times she only learns/sees them when the angels show them to her.

That's the thing with that scene. If the angels didn't want her to use her powers then why did they continue to show her runes that would help but then say "she can't use them their against our will" major plot hole right there

@@bookwormgirl1852 This scene never happened in the books, so the shows writers were just trying to make the scene as dramatic as possible and in the process created a lot of plot holes.

She knew that creating a new rune will be the end of her life in shadow world, she should have made him become human and get his and her memories wiped, so they could live like normal siblings. He would've been a big brother who's overprotective about his little princess and she would've been little sister who loves her brother even if he drives her mad....

What has this vid done to me!? I feel as if my heart has been ripped out of my chest and crushed in front of me. Gosh!💔 Watching this brought back all the pain I felt losing yet another favourite show & character before their time -and I don’t want to let it in cause it’ll only make it feel more real😭 Anyways, fantastic job with this entire video, I really love it, it’s wicked good! 🖤🖤

Love this siblings together they would have been an amazing team together if he didnt have his demon blood but yet when clary went dark she and her brother still were a good team. There stories were always messed up by the choices of there parents before they were born and after johnathan before he was born valentine injected him with demon blood and his mom jocylen abandomed him after he was born not to mention he was sent to hell to be with lillith to be tortuered. Clary never knew about her true self as a shadowhunter and or the shadow world not to mention she never knew about johnathan growing up until luke told her or valentine being her father and evenn aftse that she had to fight her father. Now she lost her brother thw last true connection to her family . #morgensternsiblingsspinoff

the "your were supposed to be my princess" and everytime he yelled clary when she got hurt or left him... made me cry dude. he was unloved his whole life because of demon blood which wasn't even his fault it breaks my heart :(

Gosh I’m TEARING UP. I finished watching the show few days ago and I felt there’s a strong sense of unease inside me, and that comes from the story between Jonathan and Clary, most Jonathan’s story. No one will ever want to become something so evil, Jonathan was a child, experimented on and abandoned by his father, raised by Lilith who tortured and burnt him and claimed that’s what mother’s love is. Whenever he yells out Clary’s name i feel the agony and desire to be saved from his voice. The love he declares for Clary is so genuine and pure. He just wants to be loved back, he just needed somewhere he belongs to… if only someone had saved him… he wouldn’t have to go through that literal hell. When he slowly dies in Clary’s arms and said “Clary you’re hurting me” he sounded like an innocent kid and my heart ached so much for him… I’ll always be heartbroken whenever i think of him. This edit is so good btw!

I see people keep saying there mad Clary didn't try to save him but clearly, she did, it's just the fact that as sad as it is to say, Jonathan had nothing but darkness in him and Clary is pure light compared to him so yeah the ending was gonna be sad which I did cry over and yes we all know Jonathan didn't know better but again even though it sucks just because you don't know something doesn't mean it's ok for u to do it. so please stop coming at Clary. I love Jonathan but Clary is also are girl so chill

Valentine sent him away AFTER he experimented on him, Jocelyn abandoned him because of his demon blood, and Lilith loved him but in a really messed up way. Only Clary truly cared for him. Even when she didn't know who he was, she cared about him. And since he doesn't really know anything about love never having anyone show it to him in life- he fell in love with her. He sees love in one dimension only.

I wish there were more scenes about Jonathan and Clary, especially in the show. In the books they explained in more detail but in the shows it was rushed. Then again they had to rush 6 books into 3 seasons

He could be saved if she tried more to understand him but she never did...In fact she always hurt his trust upon her I think that's why he became more and more murderous....anyway I like this little devil and I didn't want his death....
