Absolutely right. Husband and wife should serve one another in a marriage. Though many people today think sex is not important in a marriage, I feel it is something important in a marriage. If God initiated sex for a marriage, it is definitely important that we fulfil that desire of Him to be serving our spouse’s sexual needs. The devil loves it when we don’t serve our spouse and will come to tempt us and our spouse to have an affair outside. That’s how marriages get broken up. Husband and wife have the duty and obligation to satisfy their spouse’s sexual desires and they are the only lawful person who is allowed to do that.

Please don’t take this as anything but a hoping to help question... are you building her up during the day? Are you offering soft loving touch throughout the day that doesn’t lead to sex? Are you using foreplay to ease into things? Are you mixing up the way you bring up the sex topic? (I HATE the flat out question “do you want to have sex tonight?”) maybe it’s not the reason, but maybe she needs to be seduced instead of asked. I just don’t get it. Why would people want to get married if they do not want sex at all? God created the act of sexual intercourse (love making) for a marriage. If a woman wants to get married, I think she has to be prepared to let go of herself and spread her legs for her husband to have sex with her. It is called love making for a reason and no other forms of expressing love is as intimate as having sex. And since God commanded us to only have sex within a marriage, it places an even greater emphasis on sex as being something important in a marriage. Sex is not just for procreation, it is something which married couples do to enjoy the physical and emotional bond that comes with the act of being intimate. I think many modern women are just too caught up with the worldly things like career and material possessions that sex and child bearing becomes of less importance. Why hold back having sex and childbearing during the most fertile years where it’s so much easier to conceive and wait till it’s too late and the need to spend so much money on treatment just to produce a child? Not forgetting that late pregnancies might come with higher risk and the possibility of various birth defects which will cost a lot of money just to engage a caregiver to look after the child for life? No one wants to have an imperfect child and neither does God want it. But I feel that sometimes people just want to choose that path only to regret later. In the old times, men are made to labour outside to bring income home to feed their families while women labour at home with the household stuff and produce children. Our modern lifestyle could also be the reason why many women today suffer from various female related conditions which make conceiving a child so difficult. Just my personal thoughts, but if we are willing to go back to what God originally created us to be, I think it would be so much easier to conceive children.
