Raiden has nothing besides dmg, sub zero has great utility and space control.

@@magicmamba915 strongly disagree with you there. Raiden has damage, space control, amazing 50/50s and can even teleport. Meanwhile sub outside of his down 1 has an easily countered overhead that’s fully punishable and struggles with 3 bars and fatal to even get 40%. Not only did they nerf his strength but they also nerfed his ice clones frames which was his space control and is now also fully punishable.

@@KANGVARIANT92 raiden doesn't have space control all his long buttons are high, he's 50/50 also not amazing cuz overhead is trash and leads to nothing. His low cannot be cancelled into shocker on max range also. People overate raiden and mileena right now. Same with baraka, baraka is not the problem, problem is the cyrax. But i agree nrs overnerf sub, they should nerf or his dmg, or his utility, not both.

Very good games from you both. With your Raiden in the first half, you were doing well. But I feel like pairing him with Motaro or Stryker would have helped you deal with Shang’s zoning and close the gap.

How do you not get side switched when using Cyrax spin kameo in the corner during a Johnny combo? I'm always getting side switched at the end. For example: the combo at 22:20

If foxy used his forward Y B or Triangle Circle string it would’ve opened up more windows for him. Shang is technical but once u play him for a few hours you’ll see the possibilities

Every time you see a Shang do a F4 [the knee] and then swap to old with nothing after, its an input error.

Can Johnny start a combo with cyrax diag helicopter like sareena can? My cyrax is garbage i do not get when to call this dude in. In the corner after non amp nut punch enter you call vertical? Amp nut punch ender you call diag? Mid screen what do you do with this guy if you confirm? I get the chip / special on block everyone is doing but idk what to do besides that lol. And the net. Id love to know thoughts on best jc kameo. I still see a lot of kano and don’t see frost at all. I thought she may be good for him. I didn’t play the beta

Shang tsung is very technical,,but once mastered i think he could be top 1 or 2...theres no counter picking him,,he can just morph to their opponents form😂

You should be using 212, F124, and F321 to start pretty much any combo with johnny. He has a lot of stagger pressure. That means he has lots of recovery on some of his basic attacks and strings regardless of if the aponent is blocking, leaving as little gap bossible in-between moves.

yooo just found a glitch, im yet to test on smoke but it works on reptile: if u turn into reptile and turn invisible as shang, u are now reptile permanently… if he enhances the transform, now hes permantly reptile but hugher damage

It’s interesting that people are saying Raiden is busted or broken, the only thing he has is damage. That’s not enough to make him broken. If you’re a paying against a decent player it’s very hard to open them up with Raiden. You need a complimenting kameo to let Raiden do what he wants to do

@@amossss it's really not though if your not playing the Characters at your ideal range your not truly playing your Character and your 9 times outa ten Gonna get cooked playing that way for example Soul Caliber Ivy verses Talim can go either way Ivy has the tools to abuse Talim from the other side of the screen but in close range has slow options and frames Talim on the other hand has the frames and mix-ups to completely lock down and steal her turn and Ivy can't really do much to get her off unless your just a better player playing that way is not gonna fly

Swear raiden has the same combos where he lighting electrocutes does the kick into flip kicks then it ends with the lighting electrocute or fly I was expecting a mk 2 have a lot of moves 4 a character having many basic combo strikes where there’s different ways 2 strike combo counter butt it’s like it’s the same mk where u fight in a straight line butt it’s still a good game though I would’ve made mk1 like this Free fall kombat brought from mkdc Klose kombat also Full arena fighting like 3d era having full access 2 the arena 2 fight 2 have advantages and space while being able 2 interact with environment Stage transition Just imagine how epic crazy this would’ve been? Bringing the fight close up, out of arena falling with opponent while fighting, having plenty of space 2 fight around arena instead of a straight arena fight? The amount of insanity pro players can pull off Hope mk2 will do it 🙏
