After installing the rear shock, is it recommended to change springs at the forks too? I have an ohlins rear but a stock fork set up

Yes you should do the front too, cause now it will be off balance.

Did you have the same problem as me with the stock shock...At 78KG I can only get about 23mm of rider sag on the lowest preload setting and it's just too harsh a ride?

yeah, I'm only 160# fully suited up, so only a little bit of sag (under 20mm I think) at the softest preload setting so it was just too harsh

yes. YA535 it is. btw, you do not need to remove the fuel tank for the install.
