Kingdom hearts is just heartwarming

I really have to agree about the Mickey scene talking his organisation outfit off! That scene really changed the tone and pacing of the game for me at that point personally!

Well when you consider The 1000 Heartless battle was supposed to bring back the Behemoth and Wyvern heartless that was very ambitious I can see them not bringing back Behemoth in regular encounters because it was simply too big but the Wyvern Heartless would've fit

After watching this video, these are the thoughts I've gathered: -Nomura & Co are very ambitious, to say the least -They have an incredible work ethic, more so than just "cultural traits". They genuinely want to please their fans rather than grab money - some would argue that the upper management of SE is of another vision) -The game(s) gained more momentum than anyone could have anticipated. The "wide frontage" (the "Disney factor" as I call it), Final Fantasy games, plus its unlikeliness makes it unique. It has also become one of the longest running series ever - and it's still going! It's clear to me that Nomura & Co have many interesting ideas and concepts in mind, and now in these modern times, they have more technology and funds than ever to implement them. The quality ranging from technology to gameplay mechanics, and the camera work was enough to strain the PS2 to the limits ... Some would argue that the increased scale reduced the platforming aspects from KH1 (and I agree fully, as KH1 remains my personal KH favorite). The "user-friendly" hints is useful to those who want them, but this could have been optional (like FF X, called Battle Hints). Much of this was worked on in subsequent games - the hints still not an option :P HOWEVER I've stated in many a KH discussion that KH was affected by Squaresoft's transition to Square Enix. After the merge, the company seemed to me to have an internal "Rope Tug of War" - making them lack direction, a "red line" so to speak. Who knows how KH will move forward... There is a lot of pressure on Nomura & Co, and I wish them all well - though my pointed comments would make you think otherwise. The best we all can do, like Prodigy has said before, is to keep an open mind - and hope Nomura & Co does the same --- I KNOW YOU WATCH THIS AND/OR HAVE PEOPLE TRANSLATE THESE VIDEOS AND COMMENTS FOR YOU, PAPA NOMURA!

KH2 is such a masterpiece of a game. It blew me away the first time I played it. It and KH1 were some of the first video games that actually made me feel emotion. I'm glad they both turned out the way they did. There's very few things I would change about them.

I was one of the fans who got introduced to Kingdom Hearts 2. I didn't know anything about KH1 back in December of 2006. I find it interesting how he mentioned about how new players getting KH2 before KH1. I had a huge positive effect when my cousin bought me KH2 for Christmas. Best present I ever got.

*whistles* They almost cut out the thousand Heartless battle? I'm glad they didn't. It made the scene more intense and interesting. My only complaint about that though, is that the pacing was ruined when you go through the second visits in Disney worlds.

The Battle of 1000 Heartless is practically iconic, at least for Kingdom Hearts. The FF characters got to get involved more personally in the story, and they had that epic fanservice moment between fan favorites, Squall and Cloud. And, really...what more could you ask for than fighting alongside Yuffie, Tifa, Cloud, and Squall? I literally rush through the first half of II just to get to that moment, lol. It's my favorite Kingdom Hearts moment ever! So glad they kept it in!

I love the showdown at Hollow Bastion, possibly the most epic moment in the series for me. My only complaint is that one scene that was added in the Final Mix version. I love that scene too, but of all the places to put it, why in the middle of all the action? And if I skip the cutscene, then I also miss out on the "Think we can handle this many?" "Well, might be tough if one more shows up." I'm glad they pulled off the 1000 heartless battle though. It's nice to hear how passionate the team is. When I heard the KH2 team was being moved to FF7R, I knew the combat was going to be good. Looks like they put that same passion into that game too.

You know what's funny? When he was talking about the new players because I know a lot of people who got into KH through 2 lol

I'm glad they added information in kh2. In kh1 they didn't tell you crap, they just expected you to figure out how to beat each boss, which usually wasn't too hard but still

One of my favorite screen is still the 1000 heartless screen since as you arrive Hollow Bastion there was trouble going around town and then Sora and his friends meet Tron which they have to stop for now since during the outside world the Organization was causing some trouble and then we seen the leader and he is serious about what their goal is and then they have a major battle which represents how much strong Sora grown since the beginning to now and then they got help from someone they didnt expected

Other than the Optional Bosses in KH2FM, Critical isn't even that hard on that game. KH3 is the first time I've had trouble with Critical mode in the series.

The original KH2 was dubbed in Spanish (Spain) but then they didn’t ever do it again and released English audio with 2.5 😑😑 Sora was the same voice from Ash from Pokemon 😂😂 it was pretty cool

Osaka would not have been able to do the 1000 heartless for ps2 if it was them. They were just and still inexperienced with console titles.
