So apparently no one seems to be that much intrigued as I am on what Yukari might have bought: 1:36 . So I searched for words with Diet- and the only thing which kinda made sense on this context are Diet-Pills, It would explain why Yukari was embarrassed to reveal it, supposing that she actually keeps her figure with Diet Pills. But man it would be crazy to include such a weird thing on the game, but otherwise we are talking about Atlus here and I couldn't find any other match for this Diet- word which could fit with the context. On a silly note, maybe it is diethyltryptamine, a strong ass hallucinogenic, and Yukari just spends her time tripping balls on her room.

Blood Panthera I dont know why diet pills would be seen as weird thing to include, its not any weirder than protein powder. Although it does reveal a bit more about her character. Maybe she is secretly insecure about herself? Maybe she genuinely needs it for health reasons? Maybe its cause of her desire to become an actress? (She becomes feather pink) But who really knows.

Now I thought why Yukari would take them and I think it has to do with her insecurity of being left alone, as she never had a real family she wanted to be the most popular girl in the school so a lot of people would like her and spend time with her, but she soon noticed that a lot of them didn't really care for her personally and were just with her because "She is the popular girl" (she says something like that to the protagonist). Anyway this puts a lot of pressure on her and now she has to keep a perfect figure too keep her status, because if she lost her beauty she would be left alone once again.

So for me, makoto is my own canon in persona 5 but I like it more when atlus doesn't give us a canon pove interest (as it does) because is pretty much one of the few things we can actually choose through the game

You know what, I’ve always found these games to be weird and uncomfortable, specifically these cutscenes and I think I’ve finally figured out why they bother me. The characters almost always stare right at you, and their movements always feel really unnatural and exaggerated to an uncomfortable degree.
