How can I pour through my manual for my FT3D and then this video shows me something I never knew I could do - Expand the number of channels in the band scope?! Thank you for posting this Frank.

So Frank, should I buy this or not? The low audio complaint has me thinking otherwise. Can you please make a video and compare the audio outside and inside and around heavy machines? Thank you sir

Probably a moot point since I'm responding to a post 8months old but I have the FT-3D and I do love it and I also DO think the built-in speaker sucks compared to my Yaesu FT-70D. A great hand-mic/speaker is the solve here and don't forget this radio has Blue-Tooth (Amazing!!!) so I'm often connected to a bluetooth speaker at the house. Frank Romero is accurate here about when you throw it in the car or if there's ambient nose - can't really hear it. I haven't connected it to BlueTooth in the car, but that would be a good solution to overcome the embaressingly low quality built in speaker.

I bought one yesterday. The touchscreen is fucking PLASTIC! This over-priced schlock is such a ripoff.
