Field Trips with Robert Field

In this episode we're taking a brand new group of clients out into the Pacific to chase monster fish from kayaks. We have a bunch of first-timers, so we'll be showing them the ropes on how to safely target a variety of species. Then, back at the lodge, we're showing you an authentic Panamanian way to cook up some of the less desireable fish we catch.

I do the same with the fish eggs. I did it with perch and sander for the fresh water and all of the salt water fish that i had. You can do like a "salad" too with them, you boil them in milk for 10 minutes, you recover them with a textile and you mix them with oil, lemon, salt, pepper and minced onions and you blend them like a mayonnaise. You eat that with good bread and a glass of vodka or pastis.
