Thank you! Super helpful. At the end of your tutorial, you showed how audio goes to both speaker and your bluetooth ear phones. I cannot get this to work. Am trying to figure out how to enable bluetooth headphones when eARC is enabled and working? eARC hdmi from my TV is connected to my receiver and audio (audio1) plays very well on my speakers. BUT, the audio output does not get pushed to bluetooth headphones. I keep seeing reference to needing to use Multicast to get bluetooth headphones to work. But have not found a tutorial that shows How!? Sigh. Help anyone??

Is there any way to use the AV receiver to increase the volume to the bluetooth headphones? My headphones don't have a separate volume control, and my DVR's volume (the source of the audio) is already at maximum. The volume buttons on the receiver adjust the speaker volume, not the headphones.

For me, the "Audio Send" options are greyed out and not selectiable, even when Bluetooth is set to "On." The manual suggests that certain options me be unavailable until you connect a bluetooth device, but from watching this video it is clear that those options should be available prior to pairing my headphones. I've been searching for help online for almost 2 hours and can't find anything that fixes it. I stumbled across your channel and you seem to be a subject matter expert on my exact receiver (Vx-385) so if you're reading this... help! You're my only hope :P

mine doesnt even have the option, even though in the manual it says it should have it. cant find a solution either. mine is a htr-4072.

Hello, it is pretty late, but I just had the same problem and found the solution. You have to change your input device away from bluetooth first, because you cannot use a bluetooth device input and output at the same time. Just go to the input audio 1 or hdmi 1, then go in the Bluetooth setup to turn on the audio send/transmitter.

You should be able to set the input on the receiver as Bluetooth and then pair and connect the PC and the receiver. You'll need Bluetooth on the PC, of course.
