Thanks for the help! I'm installing a 7" bucket and didn't know how to remove it

Could I just replace the bulb with an LED bulb? Or is there more involved if I want an LED headlight. Thanks!

You can definitely just replace with an h4 led bulb. Direct easy swap.

Hello. Found your video when I was swapping out my Risers to Baron Risers. I am needing to get rid of the cable stay bracket behind the headlight bucket as the Baron SAE bolts are too large for the Metric Holes. Very hard to drill behind the Head Light Bucket and removal will also give me some extra cable length needed for the 4 inch riser. Basically this video is a God Send and Right on Time since it has been about a month ago since you made this video. I saw the Standard Road Star Riser Swap on another video and the Warrior is just that more complicated to make you cuss a little bit. Was looking all over the Bucket and behind trying to see if there was an External Bolt I needed to loosen. Nope, you nailed it; 4 8mm ones inside the Bucket. Woo Hoo! Now I know!

Thanks for commenting and subscribing!! I'm glad the video was able to help out. U hadn't the same exact problem when installing my Barons drag bars, so I know exactly what you mean. Also glad that it'll give you the opportunity to clean the bucket up. If you ever have a by question or ideas for a video, feel free to get with me. Thanks again!

Was up till 2am. I get off work late. Put it all together and had the click of death and the fast turning signal on the left side. Shut it down for the night but unplugged everything. Morning click of death, wrrrrreeeeing noise. My Brother in Law was walking by. He plugged in the lights his way and it was perfect. Battery was dead but on a tender the lights were behaving. (One of those guys, does not look at the diagram, watch hours of videos, and just fixed it!) Starter is still dead as battery needs a full charge so will let it sit for 8 hours on the tender. That was a lot of work. Lots of bending of cable keepers and broke it out. Barons... 30 minutes of work on a Conventional Road Star. About 4 hours of work on the Warrior. Heh! Heh! Got it done though.

In the end, that's all that matters! I remember doing mine. The worst part for me was running the wires through the bars. I fought with them forever. When I finally got them ran, the wires weren't long enough. Did you also replace the turn signals? Not sure if you saw my video on fixing the click of death, but it is a very simple five minute fix. Glad that you got everything installed in the end and hope that everything is good on the battery.

Not yet on the Turn Signals. I am debating between the LED bulbs with the built in Resistors or going full Radical with Tiny LED stems. Love LEDs. I can not even imagine running wires through the Bars. I put on some Biltwell Zeds. I knew I could not put the wires through them and was quoted at a shop $900 to do it (they must really hate that job as well). It is all hidden behind a Memphis Shades Sport Shield. Left mine external and did the Bars and now Risers myself. In fact I just got back from a Shake Down ride. Takes about 4 hours of Trickle Charge to get a good turn over.

How did you prep the chromed parts and what did you use as a primer to get adhesion on it? THX.

Hey Stefan, thanks for watching and commenting! The answer is going to disappoint you though. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the color, so I wasn't ready to go permanent yet. I actually just used black plasti dip spray paint for now as a trial until I can decide how I feel about it. I figured if I didn't like it, I could just peel it off and go right back to chrome. Sorry, I didn't have a better answer you you on that. Thanks again for watching!

Looks good. Think I'll clean my Headlight Bucket when I remove it. Get rid of some of the Road Grime build up where brushes can't reach.

What size headlight is on the warrior
@RSWarriorBryan5 жыл бұрын
Hey Chad, thanks for watching the video. There are so many different measurements on the headlight such as the bucket, lens, etc... I found this link though that shows a ton of different measurements on the headlight and I'm sure it will give you whatever measurement you're looking for. Hope it helps and thanks again! www.rswarrior.com/forums/12-general-discussion/96168-headlight-housing-size.html
