Which opposition leader has been put in just like that? The corrupt are being summoned by courts and after examining the charge sheet and hearing all parties, they may be sentenced to jail for their corrupt deeds. What is wrong with that? Isn't that's what happens in a democracy when a common citizen or a high and mighty are treated equally? Isn't the welfare of the nation of paramount importance?

We are a nation of tough leaders after all...
@anooph1235 жыл бұрын
@Suman Kundu few things: Lynching is not a Myth - It's a reality. Journalism - I am sure you must have figured this out already that We don't have Journalists anymore...we have Noise makers on both side of Aisles. The loudest voice is on the Right and it's full of Lies...I am sure you believe large part of it. Thirdly, whataboutism doesn't work...Nehru died more than 54 years back...How long do you want to blame him? Mixed economy model that India adopted was the need of 1947, did anyone expect a country to fully embrace capitalism and Globalisation soon after coming out of an Imperialist Invasion that the country faced. I am glad, you accepted the point on Joblessness..but again, adding additional dimensions (which can't be measured) to justify the current situation doesn't help. Does it? Also, this isn't really about being smart and stuff...This is just a civil dialogue between two people and I am glad we are able to conduct it with utmost sanctity.

1 Though this interview was conducted 4 years ago, the answers given by Yashwanth Sinha to the questions raised, are relevant. He was candid about himself, his party, and about the way the political dispensation from 2014 has been making use of communication media, and controlong the minds of the people of this country, which is not at all good for Indian Democracy. I feel that this interview give an understanding about the quality of the maturity of the mind and experience of Yasvanth Sinha, as a family member, IAS Officer, as well as a politician. It throws light on why he followed a path of dissent within the party, yet he continued his interactions, quality relationship with part workers, while maitaining distance from the high level party leaders. He comes across as a great gentle man. 👌👌👌

This is what is happening to our country. The uneducated politicians are removing educated politicians from politics.
@WarpVision5 жыл бұрын
What is an educated politician. A person who is so far removed from the pulse of their own people and still cannot come to terms with the defeat they have faced and are in denial. Real education lies in recognising our immediate surroundings and people who are our own. Especially in a country like India, where there is a huge disparity in thought between people living in the city and the remote villages. Where all of us unify is the common threads that bind us through culture and familiarity of people which is a direct reflection of the collective consciousness of being Indian. The soul of our country lies in the villages. If we gave that a chance to get stronger, I don't see anything wrong with it.

1. Manipulation or management of the media and thus influencing the sentiments of the electorate is a standard operating strategy of all political parties. Indira Gandhi too has done this for 4 decades!!!! What's new that Yashwant Sinha is saying here ??? 2. What is the purpose of his saying "not enough is being done for minorities" ??? does he mean to endorse the Congress party's tradition of pandering/appeasing minorities & compromising/ignoring/neglecting/exploiting the majority ??? 3. What prevented him from talking about what were the disagreements that led to his seperation from the BJP ??? It would certainly have been a revelation to the people
@mitbomb5 жыл бұрын
1. It was done during emergency and that's why there was so much protest at that time because that was WRONG. Leaders of BJP themselves opposed it. 2. To do enough you have make them feel safe. How would you feel if there is always a risk of getting lynched in false accusations when you are going out of town in night. 3. He told a lot reasons like the way party was operating and the discipline of the workers. If you want more you can actually read the book it should have some other things. Speaking of Majorities during Congress when were they neglected or exploited can you give me an example. By saying these things don't consider me a Congress lover as I also voted for Modi but it does not mean that I have to keep a blind eye on everything. People have the right to select a leader and also a right to protest when they don't work in the way which is acceptable to everyone.
@zeaybaanoorie5285 жыл бұрын
@@mitbomb 3. The congress conveniently retained most of the governance policy's and laws of the British . Eg the donations at temples are considered as the government income and used for promotion of places of worship of other communities. Funds are not returned to the temples where donations are made. Nehru provided special subsidies to Muslims to travel on Haj to Mecca/Madina from the donations made by devotees at hindu temples. The supreme court order that interferes with the centuries old sacred customs of the Sabarimala temple in Kerala in favour of Leftists and Christian missionaries who are mere divisive activists and not devotees of the presiding deity of the concerned temple. Indira Gandhi modified the constitution of India at the instance of leftist parties to add words such as "secular and socialist" during the emergency of 1975. The history of India was altered to play down the barbaric atrocities inflicted by muslims towards other religious belief. Eg. You may read the book "Tipu Sultan the tyrant of Mysore by Sandeep BalaKrishna for a factual account.

@@zeaybaanoorie528 The facts that congress was wrong, doesn't make BJP right. BJP successfully fueling the communal hatred today. The mad power control, hiding and manipulating data, they stopped door to door surveys in India ( if you don't collect data, you don't have to show it right?), this is not the governance we asked for. I think an open dustbin is better than a closed land mine.

@@zeaybaanoorie528 What do you want? governance should be done on religion instead of constitution? in shabrimala incidence, the court ordered the same thing any democratic, secularist country would have made. Country comes before religion. Our constitution gives freedom of movement. if you want court to woo hindus or consider rules of hinduism as a law, there is no difference between you and a Muslim Mullah who wants Shariya law in this country. Thats what BJP does. they emotionally manipulate us to make us believe in these kinds of communal things. Thats not acceptable at all.

Hence you will always be a bitter sounding old man who is a misfit to start with 2) By your own admission Congress party governments were worse than current dispensation. And there is no 3rd alternative after all Lalus or Mayas or Kejris could not be given the control. And you have no alternate option. BJP or Mr Modi might not be perfect, but better than other alternatives. @@manojtiwari-xg4hu I am not a bhakt either, yes i agree Modi has not fulfilled all his poll promises but do we have a choice, others are even worse. Modi is at least well intention-ed. Although i am little upset with BJP coz they too are busy appeasing the muslims. All Indian citizens should be treated equally why only muslim girls should get special treatment for education & UPSC exams, why not poor hindu girls. Only economically weaker section should get this kind of consideration.

Ritam Chatterjee can you please give me the name of the God who will have a very good end? The more everyone tried to pull him down right from 2002 the higher he rose. Still people like you have not learnt a lesson. The majority of Indians support him. What bad end do you suggest he is close to 70 yrs & we are very lucky & proud to have a PM like him. Do you want a crazy, power hungry, corrupt, classless woman like Mamta to be PM. I am a Bengali & I am ashamed of the likes of Mamta, Aparna ect. Because of people like you half of Bengal has become Bdesh & now people like Mamta is bent on turning other half into another Bdesh. Then people like you will be kicked out of Bengal by Islamists like Kashmiri pundits. Wake up please before it's too late.
