Sky News host Paul Murray says the last election was “all about” the cost-of-living crisis but the years since have continued to “get worse”.
“I have been riding the Prime Minister very hard on a central promise he made before the last election,” he said.
“The last election was all about a cost-of-living crisis.
“There was apparently a great need to change the government.
“As you know for the rest of ’22 for all of ’23 and continuing now into ’24, cost-of-living has been horrible, continues to get worse, every day, all day all night.”

One nation is in the SENATE. Not the house of representatives. One nation has to get into the house of Reps, or swamp the Senate. That won’t happen because the Greens fill the Senate, and note with Labor You need to study Australian politics. It’s a VCE subject. Very informative. One nation don’t have enough candidates anyway, so you won’t get them in where they need to be. Either fill up the Senate to stop the Lower house pushing thru bills, or block them That’s how Whitlam was kicked out, because the Senate - the UPPER house blocked supply.

I dont just think its power bills its also the cost of food, food prices are utterly ridiculous i buy the same products every week and most of them are just off being double the price. Woolworths prices went up 3 to 4 times last year yet they made billions of dollars profit . Labour govt says they are investigating price gouging but we all know nothing will be done about it and its just Albo trying to look good because his poll no.s are low.

Mortgagees don’t need just an extra $30k a year to pay additional interest. Mortgagees need an extra $30k POST-TAX dollars to pay their home mortgage. If you’re paying 47% marginal tax rate, that means you have to earn an EXTRA $56k6 pre-tax to pay the home mortgage. No wonder mortgage holders are hurting.
