This is my hometown, born and raised there but left for good in 2003. I know every single location in this video because it's not a big town. Weird seeing this video. But I can say I did have sort of an awareness of who Yela was before I left - I remember a graffiti mural on Tuscaloosa Ave with the tag "Yelawolf." Had no idea who he was/would become at the time.

This man was sooo nice looking. His Indian heritage was shinning through. “Gorgeous”....I soooo wish he hadn’t tatted himself up. His looks were awesome just as he was. ESPECIALLY that gorgeous face and dark hair. I really enjoy some of his music, I just wish he had left his skin alone. He was perfect just as he was, as far as looks go. I know some people are in to tattoos. It’s a personal decision. Me , personally, I’m not a fan of tats. I personally think there is nothing more gorgeous than the skin God gave you. I’ve seen so many people destroy their beautiful selves with ink and characters. I can’t understand it.

When his brother Zoo got into trouble with a rival crew, Catfish decided to challenge them to a music battle to prevent violence. On the night of the showdown, Catfish gave an outstanding performance, showcasing the bass and tweeters he had learned from Riff Raff, inspired by Yelawolf's song "Kickin." The Dixie Mafia Family, Catfish's crew, emerged victorious, and the rivals agreed to end the cycle of violence. With the help of Riff Raff and influenced by Yelawolf, Catfish and his crew created music that brought hope and unity to their community, proving that a better life was possible beyond the hustle.

NO LIE....The first time a listened to a track by Yelawolf, I thought he was 100% African American. I was shocked when I found out those animated flows were coming from a Caucasian.This has nothing to do with race but Him and Eminem (in my opinion) are crowned rappers today, and the best as far as I'm concerned. They both killed the stereotype of being "Caucasian" .

its crazy to see how much he has changed. this was the first song i heard by him, i was in the bus with a friend talking about hip hop and different rappers and such, when a guy in front of us leaned over to us, and said that he heard us talking good rappers, and that we should check out a new rapper that was coming up, and he said he was sure that he would become great in the future. that was one year ago, and well, i guess he was right

his sound is more pop nowdays, yes. and also i think his eminem collaborations on every new album are too predictable. but his message is still there. hes still a guy that actually has something to say and that still seperates him from alot of the other mainstream acts. im not that much into his new stuff either but i still respect him alot and understand everyone that still loves his stuff.

+The_Weasel_2012 This is a bad ass song. He does get way fuckin better for sure. Listen to Rittz "Rattle Back" ... He sampled this song. Its not every ones cup of tea, but as a producer... I love it.

+The_Weasel_2012 This IS a badass song, probably one of my favorite Yela Wolf songs...not sure why, but it thumps and I LOVE it, Im 42 years old and should not love this shit, but I do. Old school hip hop and rap are my favorites, and Im okay with that. Even though this is not "old school" it reminds me of the shit I grew up and LOVE
