Yellowjackets season 2 is premiering March 24th 2023, and the first trailer for the new season was just released.
In this video I breakdown the footage we see in the Yellow Jackets trailer frame by frame and try to piece together some of the mystery we can expect to see in season 2.

The foaming mouth girl is one of the unnamed JV characters played by Mya Lowe who will be playing a more prominent role in S2. many belive she is a good candidate for Pit Girl.

really? i read that it was Mari who is played by alexa barajas. i read a review of the first six eps that said Mari, Crystal and Akilah will have more scenes/a more prominent role this season. mya lowe is billed on the imdb but she doesn't even have a name attached. a lot of people theorizing that Mari is pit girl and also assumed to be the one foaming/with rabies. it's hard to tell tho because when i googled mya lowe she looks a lot like alexa in the sense that they both have dark hair, dark eyes and round faces.

First time I've ever heard the Coach Ben leading a group theory. That is interesting. And would help with my theory of Natalie being friends with Ben and being on the other side of the group because she kind of does her own thing but also still has lots of connections with the girls.

I think that feast scene has to be a dream sequence, because there's no way they can get clean white robes, bronze goblets and watermelon in the woods?

i hope they do go the supernatural way, but think they are gonna bounce around " the supernatural or is it group survival shared delusion" and end it in a way where the viewers decided for themselves (hate such endings)

get ready to hate because as far as it's been implied by the creators a huge point of the show is just that. shared trauma vs supernatural and what people perceive as reality isn't necessarily so. i believe they won't ever answer this question outright and it will be dependent on the viewer to decide for themselves.

@@ango8466 nah, it's already been renewed for s3. the creators originally said they had a 5 season plan mapped out but more recently in an interview they basically said they aren't thinking about length atm. they are taking each season as it comes and they feel that the story will 'tell them when they're done.'

As a 50 year old dude who loves the show with his wife you are good girl.👊 Me and my wife do the same stuff. You nailed that!!! Can't wait till the 24th!!! 💯💯. The only twist I think is The Antler Queen might be Shauna because she is more powerful than we think. The show never does what you think it will do... It goes left when you think right and vice versa.

i think it's possible for them to surprise us about AQ still but i do believe it's not Shauna. i think she has already kind of been given a specific role to play which is butcher. with her killing and dismembering Adam this past season, i assume that she's the one that will ultimately kill or at very least butcher someone for them to eat.

When u see the antler queen in trailer, it has been stated that it was not the cast. It is impossible to determine who is who when the cast is not in that part of trailer. Apparently the series did this on purpose so we couldn't figure them out too early

@@ango8466 but we don't know who falls in the pit. I had tried to match shoes last season. That's when I found out that the intro doesn't have the cast in it. I know it's obvious now but last season it wasnt

@@ango8466 i think most people have gathered that AQ is Lottie but it's really about the others. who is a part of this crew and who is serving Lottie.

the cast has said they were all stunt actors in that scene so you're correct. the only person/character that was actually there was Misty/Sam. the cast said even they were trying to surmise and guess from clothes but they stopped after realizing that the girls started sharing clothes so that was out. then they said they tried to based on height and stuff but eventually ruled that out too and gave up lol.

The cabin in the woods could be the same one Adam mentioned to Shauna in season 1 when he asked her to go away with him for the weekend. Would make sense if the theory on there being more to Adam is true. It’s a reach I know but thought I’d put it out there.

the creators have confirmed that there is no mystery w/ Adam, he was simply some guy. which is important to Shaunas character because of her paranoia and trauma she killed some random guy that was into her. they said they considered otherwise, even said they considered Adam being adult Javi but decided against it because it made more sense to the story this way.

@@doublefeature yeah I saw what the creators said about Adam etc, I did say it was a reach tbf and was more of a reply about the cabin in the woods in general and still would make sense but not if that is it with Adam.. can never fully believe creators but I think they’ve told the truth

They are not in the Canadian wilderness. They are in the Pacific Northwest. They were on their way to Seattle.

If you listen to the pilot while they're flying, he mentions diverting north to avoid a storm. An official description of the show also notes they're in the Ontario wilderness, BUT that doesn't make sense since they include a shot of the Rocky Mountains. 🤷‍♀️

@@ieatzebraarah it could only be BC with the mountains and forest. East of the Rockies in Alberta it's a different badlands hilly terrain, compared to the heavily forested lower mainland of British Columbia.
