The problem with rhaenyra first three is that they have dark hair while both their parents have light hair which is genetically impossible so them being illegitimate was obvious in both the books and show, while for example on cersei's case her kids at least looked like her. What rhaenyra should have done was choose someone who at least looked like either her or laenor.

there would be a certain poetic justice if daeron were the fruit of alicole colicent. but 1. as you say, there's the question of dragon lore; 2. alicole is gross b/c it involves krusty and he's blekhrot.

I do believe the queen and Cole started their relationship after the kings' death. It's a lot less dangerous and stupid to have an affair if an active Queen. a Queen Mother on the other hand is a lot less dangerous who is a grandmother. A queen mother has a lot more freedom than a queen.

So if they aren't a hatchling, Tessarion is just a random riderless dragon they sent from the Dragonpits to Oldtown that they just "hoped" he would bond to Daeron eventually😅? Why wouldn't they just have bonded before they left King's Landing😂?

I am very excited to meet him in the show!! However, I really hope he is not the love child of Ali-Cole because that was never in question before and like you said wouldn't make sense for Dragon lore as he's a rider!

Canonically he isn’t. Daeron is 100% Viserys & Alicent’s child. Silver-white hair, rides a dragon(which requires targaryen blood), burns down cities, the whole nine-yards.

Aren’t only blood of Valyrians allowed to ride a dragon cuz dragons recognize Valyrian blood…so if Alicent and Criston both aren’t descendants of Valyria then how can their child ride a dragon?🤔

I do not think he is Cole's child as Condal said he left it ambiguous, but to him affair is 'new thing' - of course he can change his mind in future and retroactively make Daeron a son of Cole, but it certainly would not be what he planned originally. However, if they will him to have auburn hair, that would potentially explain why he is treated as outcast of family.

Andrew of @KnightsoftheDrunkWatch. Great run down. I was seeing the same things, though you delve much deeper! This version defintely seems to be a recap, not only of Season 1, but of the history that lead us here. I agree, just like Season 1, we will see evolving versions. Season 1: Viserys model of Valyria My prediction: Season 2: Helaena's tapestry. You will see her working on embroidery with the same colors as the opener. My guess, when we do see changes, they will hint to what is to come, just like she does when she says "nonsense", which is never nonsense!

I think its showing the blood magic binding dragon/humans, then its Azor Aha stabing Nissa Nissa with her chest bare, then Daenys the dreamer& Aenar fleeing valaria, then the doom is showed in two patterns showing explosions and then all the dead, then the conquerors taking Weateros field of fire, then margor dead on throne, then Jaehareys & Alysanne with Verm / dreamfyre wings, then counsil of 101, then the princess and queen in their green and black dresses, then Rhaenyra on dragonstone throne and Aegon on his stolen throne.... Rewatch it with and see if you see what I see.... maybe im trippin lol But I do agree with your thoughts or hopes that we will get more history as we go
