Hey there friends! Just wanted to let you all know officially we will be switching to Friday uploads going forward but no longer Sundays as well. It's been a fun year being able to share so much RV travel with you all. Also we mention it in this video but this was recorded a little while back now with the Yellowstone flooding. With vlogging say 3 videos as week and uploading the 2 a week we have a slight backlog of RV videos into the fall Season and for while we plan to catch up with family and friends in between RV adventures. Thank you for tuning in and enjoying our RV adventures with us though everyone and hopefully see you Fridays! 😃🍁

I just wanted to say that you all have got to keep making your RV videos. I watch all of them, and they are the most balanced with adventure and family fun, compared to others. Not just saying it because my name is Luke i promise. We've been watching RV videos for years Because me and my wife are saving up to full time in a class a motorhome. We don't have a kid. We just have a cat. I imagine that you are going to need to get a big fifth wheel, since you already have a nice truck or a Class A motorhome sometime down the road. Now that you have Chloe. Enjoy your amazing adventures. My wife and I are about 1/4 way to our goal of purchasing our motorhome. I just hope you all haven't retired from the RV life by the time we succeed.

I’m late watching on my phone so I can comment. I think you guys rolled with the situation in style. My Wyoming girlfriend lives near the Montana border. She sent videos of what was happening around her before we heard more details on the TV news. Including watching the bridge they take to get to the family cabin just outside of North entrance washing away. Even though the drive was arduous for you all, the time will come when it’s a great story to tell around a campfire! I am so glad you were safe the whole time and bless little Chloe for doing her bit too. Stay safe and enjoy the time you have together!! I love your videos!

That must have been a crazy experience for her. We didn't get much rain prior on the Southside but it sure must have been a lot up north to create so much flooding. Hopefully they manage to get it all fixed up and operational for everyone else out there. Sure would be tough if you lived there, or disappointing if you had booked a big family vacation in advance just to have it canceled. Thankful we just had the detour to deal with only. Cheers Cheri!🙂🍁

Totally right! Would've made for a waaay extra long day and getting stuck in the mass evacuation traffic. All worked out well for us besides a little extra gas to use which is minor compared to a lot of other people's day!🍁

Funny fact: at around 11:00 on ur video, yall passed us as we were heading south from west yellowstone (white gmc with a white hideout with a yellow dont tread on me tag). We were in the park when the flooding was taking place and had to leave out the west entrance that morning. When we thought we noticed our truck passing at 11:00 minutes, we slowed the video and sure enough there we were. Lol. Happy travels

Oh wow haha. Small world, good catch and fun little throw back for you then. Must've been pretty wild being evacuated from actually inside of the National Park!🍁

count your lucky stars, as you didn’t find yourself in a truly dangerous situation. The detour is a relatively minor challenge. I’m glad you reached your destination safe and sound.

Yeah for sure! Being on one of those wash out roads or even getting stuck in the middle of the park as everyone was leaving would've been much worse!🍁

Oh boy. That was bad luck as far as timing. Mother Nature is definitely in charge. I'm glad you were just driving through Yellowstone and were not planning to camp there. A long detour, but at least it turned out quite well for you. You have been having an amazing adventure! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Was a surprising morning but we were grateful that at least we found out before getting in to the park rather than getting stuck farther in and gridlocked in traffic. Amazing how many cool USA spots we've been able to experience now though. Thanks for tuning in with us😄🍁

I live in west Yellowstone. It literally rained hard for 2 months before it flooded. We're talking hard rain. Was not handled very well.....

Good thing you got turned around at the entrance and did not burn up time going into the park to get stuck in more traffic. I think confusion happens during an emergency because the answers are not clear during the crisis. You would think just saying " flooding" could have been said. Honestly, sometimes you do need people to just do something quickly without the whole story. Example, children need to stop immediately if you say "stop". You see a snake in the path and can't get all the words out before they step on it. Because we lived with poisonous snakes and scorpions, we practiced just saying "stop" and they had to stop. This worked in real life when our 4 year old was 18" from a copperhead in the path ahead of us. I yelled "stop"....she stopped immediately, and I grabbed her up and stepped back. One more step and it would have been a disaster.

Yeah very good points. Could only imagine how busy it must've been inside the park with everyone evacuating and potential road closures etc. Made for an experience but worked out smooth for us. Just a little extra gas to burn and places to see haha. Hope you guys have been well 😄🍁

What a bummer you had to go through all that extra driving. You would think there would've been warnings. Glad you didn't get stuck inside the park like so many did! Enjoy the rest of your trip and stay safe out there! It's been really fun following your 100 day trip! 😊

Yeah we must've really cut it close with the closures! Getting stuck in the middle of the park and being part of the mass evacuation certainly would've been even more inconvenient though. Glad you've been enjoying the trip and thanks for watching Vicki 🙂🍁

Looking forward to your Montana adventures. Montana is my native state and my ancestors were Montana pioneers. I think maybe I was there around the same time as you…only north! All the travelers that were turned away at Yellowstone were flocking north to where I was. Enjoy what’s left if summer 😊

The surrounding communities must've been swarmed with people looking last minute accommodations that were likely already fully booked as is. Thanks for watching Lori and hope we manage to share some areas in Montana you like!🙂🍁

I recently heard on another video that Yellowstone the roads actually caved in and that it would be a couple years before every part of the park is reopened. With all the police involved there may have been something else going on that they don't want the public to know about like a person going missing or a bear attack or something like that. Sorry guys, we didn't get to see it when we were out there either. I'm hoping you get to see Yosemite because in my opinion it was breathtakingly beautiful.. PS thanks for the longer video I really enjoyed it and I enjoyed hearing Chloe back there verbalizing as well LOL hope the rest of your trip goes better guys. Big hugs ‼️☺️🖐️💓

Thanks Teresa! Yeah it looks like it got quite devastated there. Sure glad we didn't get in earlier and then stuck in the traffic and panic just to leave anyway. Would've been cool to see but at least it's not too far for a trip from Canada again someday. Yosemite would also be really nice to stay at, hopefully we can manage to go that way next trip. We went years ago on a car road trip and loved it. Have a good upcoming weekend!🙂🍁

Very true Steve! It was a minor inconvenience for us compared to what it did to so many other people there and people who had prebooked there big family vacations just to have to cancel. Also beats getting stuck in the middle of the park and having to leave anyway!🍁
