I had a class reunion on the Santa Monica pier. I did not go to school in California but I went to a performing arts high school and many of my classmates live in LA so we had it there! Awesome memories! But it was very crowded when we went its so empty now! I hardly saw any of this stuff other than taking pictures in the same spot as you suggested!

Amazing how Santa Monica Pier looks like now. I was there last year pre covid19 and it was just packed , loved the arcades there playing the halo game. It was some great memories, one day this covid will be over

Before I moved from California in the summer of 1988. The last job that I had was rebuilding the pier in Santa Monica after one of the winter storms made it a little bit shorter. And there are really two piers that run side by side , one is the city pier and the other is the county pier.

The riots that happened in the summer of 2020 really messed up the shops around the Santa Monica pier... it was a sad scene of boarded Shops and graffiti. Never thought I would see that in Santa Monica.

Nice video. Thanks. If the Winchester Mansion is open to visitors, that might be a interesting place to film. Another Californian legend. Not sure though. I have heard a lot about it, but do not know whether those things perhaps are grossly exaggerated. If it is just a old house with a staircase that leads nowhere and one or two doors without rooms or closets behind them, that would probably not be worth a trip.
