Mnet's PRODUCE 101 Loves to introduce YG entertainment. We all know how rigged this talent show is. YG learned that mnet isn't fair to its trainees. Especially those who didn't have pre exposure. In 2017 YG send 4 of YGkplus models instead of trainees. Only Kwon Hyunbin was a trainee but was introduced as model. He was offerd a deal to debute as a member of JBJ whilst being a YG trainee.
In 2019, after YGTB, YG send two pre exposed trainees in the hope people will vote for them since they already know them. YG actually gave them a chance to debute elsewhere under YG entertainment much like JBJ.
Trainees: Wang Jyunhao & mahiro.
YG trainees are feared in talent shows. Who els has their chests puffed up after watching this?😌😎 proud proud....

I felt so bad for the YG trainees because they looked so sad because everyone was bashing them practically saying they were going to get it easy because they were from the Big 3

Sadly that's what people think... they should know its 10 times harder to exel in expectations from the agency and public.. when you are underestimated.. you can do anything.. but for YGA, thats different. People have Eyed on them and expect allot.

There is good news now mahiro and GUNO are gonna debut in a 6 member JPOP group called bugvel under dream passport which has another group in called orbit and bugvel is set to debut this year

Back then mnet and YG were still at feud. Mnet requested YG to send trainees. YG was like... fuck no.. here are models. Due to this... VIINI( ygx model) had a opportunity to learn and later debute.

It could've also backfired. Its a 5050 chance that they are instant hit.. or mnet evil editing causes more shit to deal with.. damaging both hella talent artist future. I don't think YG for the boys would risk that.

Just send that professional rapper kid, Junhyuk. I'm pretty sure all of them never ever got to number 1. Junghyuk also nearly debut with Treasure and YG really really don't want to let him go, but due to his age. YHS don't let him debut yet and he already leave YG and continue his study to Canada.

I wish they would.. but YG has its treaure box.. showing of their gems only gets them backtracked. YG sends trainees they know need experience and are confident about showing to the industry. Like Mixnine YG trainees. 2 of them are now in treaure. Or models who want to join the music industry.

@@royalyg9673 Mixnine was still associated with YG, so that's kind of different. But a survival show like this, they're not going to send their aces, only the trainees that needs improvement on their talents.

@edwardkuoch lee midam quit in the middle pf YGTB and broke their rules. So it was an excuse to kick him out. I mean his father did write a letter about what happened to midam for him to leave YG. He couldn't take pressure and he's about to go depressed. Luckily Junkyu went headstrong cause most YGTB traineees especially thenoldest trainees looks like they gonna die and end up giving up. So it's still midams fault. Not YG. YG is paving the way. Midam didn't take it knowing he also trained in JYP. He should've expected more than that.

TBH the ex YG trainees on the show were way better. E.g WOODZ got into X1. He trained with UNIQ at YG. Lee Midam was Treasure A.

@@liezltan1887 he didn’t leave YG, UNIQ was supposed to be a collaborative group to be debuted by YG and YH but because of YH doesn’t want to delay the debut of Team C they debuted under YH solely. Team C was supposed to even participate in WIN: Who Is Next with Winner (Team A) and Ikon (Team B).

If I'm not wrong I think they are shocked because YG trainees are participating and since YG is a big company they are scared to lose their chance maybe Also I don't know if I'm 100 percent correct but hopefully this explains a little bit

They were shocked cause prior to airing the show, these 2 are part of TREASURE BOX (a YG survival to create the group TREASURE), and sadly they weren’t chosen in the debuting line up. TB last episode aired 1-2 weeks before this PD101. You can check TREASURE BOX in youtube, YG uploaded all the episode. You’ll know why they weren’t in the debuting line up

Because Big3’s reputation is “it would be hard to survive trainee period of YG SM JYP” and if they debut means they are really THAT big deal. So training within YG is a privilege as well knowing that they provide more (as per YGTB show - it costs at least $100k per trainee/year and they were at least 30 people training and occassionally some have to leave if they don’t improve or if personal reasons)

I nvr like produce series to begin with.... 😕😒😪 The only criteria to be in top 11 is to be a standard dancer and have good visuals.... Singing skills, rapping skills may not be there.....and being a jyp or ex jyp trainee is a must, cos jyp still pays mnet his pocket money..... I dnt hate somi and I know she's a great singer but we all knw somi was chosen 1 cos jyp.... And who the hell chose wonyoung as 1st... she's only got visuals.. tbh..... Mnet has always been partial.... The whole show was later proven to be fraud..... I saw a lot of people claim that chaeyeon shud hve been 1st, I mean chaeyeon is a good dancer.... but honestly has any1 ever hrd her sing or rap....

This is one of the reason why YG sometimes doesn't make his YGArtist joins on variety shows, because of this discrimination, YG decided to make their own variety shows often. As you can observe, YGArtist seldomly also attends award ceremony and such because there have been issues like disrespecting YGA within such shows.
