He's actually been knocked out quite a few times. He uses an old technique where the neck absorbs most of the impact. Do a utube vdo search. He's not a monk he's mma.

amadoit Not every fight in the UFC is a total ground battle. Watch Chad Mendes vs. Jose Aldo or many of the Conor McGregor fights. Most of the big Superstars primarily rely on their striking and only usw takedowns when the opportunity presents itself.

Really enjoy the fight. This is a tough fight for both of them. Close match. The Germany guy has great boxing steps, defense, and punches, as well as speed and awesome kicks. Most importantly, he's so smart that he learned from his first two falls, hence never let the monk attack his supporting leg while kicking. And whenever the monk kicks one of his legs, he shift his body weight to the other leg. From the second round, you can tell the monk lost his patience and tried to seek a instant KO, and that gave his opponent many chances to throw sets of blow on him who doesn't have solid boxing techniques.

Yi Longs Körper und Geist sind im Einklang. Der zeigt unglaubliche Fähigkeiten. Ich habe noch nie solch eine Energie bei einem Menschen gesehen. Wer sich alle Kämpfe anschaut von ihm könnte denken er ist ein anderes Wesen von einem anderen Stern. Kein Stück aggressiv vor oder nach dem Kampf und absolut fair im Kampf. Dann diese extreme Schnelligkeit. Solch eine Power ist außergewöhnlich und ist nur mit seinem CHI zu erklären. Übrigens er kommt aus China aber er ist schon ein besonderer Chinese .... eben ein Mönch der Shaolin. Die werden da ziemlich verehrt.

O Yi Long é um ótimo lutador mas para mim ele poderia ganhar algumas lutas mais fácil, o que falta nele é dar mais sequência de golpes ele acerta um soco depois dá mais uns três e para ao invés de continuar a desferir mais golpes, ao contrário dos adversários que se encontrar uma chance continua desferindo socos para ver se derruba, igual o oponente fez com ele num determinado momento nas cordas.

Yi Long had formal training in Wushu, but I read that he is self-trained in Shaolin Kung Fu. Does anyone have more details on that? Did he watch a bunch of Shaolin videos? What is meant by self-trained?

S.J. Breier I’m pretty sure wushu showed up as an answer to Mao banning true martial arts, most of Wushu has a large basis in Shaolin and Wu Dan Kung fu, understandably they share a lot of stances and motions the main difference being all the extra acrobatics as opposed to combative techniques. He was already learning Kung fu just with some cool tricks too.

Es ist falsch, ihn als Shaolin, Shaolin Meister oder einfach nur schon als Mönch zu bezeichnen. Sicherlich, er kann seine Sache ziemlich gut, aber das ganze Shaolin-Gedöns ist nur Marketing

TheRahTamal Er wäre der erste, echte Shaolin Meister der alle Grundprinzipien bei Seite tritt und in Las Vegas auftritt. ;-) Yi Long kämpft eine Abwandlung von Han Fu/Sanda. Betitel wen wie auch immer du magst, ändert trotzdem nichts an der Tatsache dass das mehr PR ist als alles andere.
