Hopefully you got a kick out of this as much as I did. As soon as I saw that Vader scene, this idea popped into my head and I couldn't shake it 😅

I know this video isn't meant to be taken seriously, but this clip of Vader just makes me believe that the Obi-Wan show writers did not take into consideration of how many questions this opens up for watching the movies and wondering why didn't Force user X didn't stop a ship from taking off and getting away

So what your thoughts on the powers in Kenobi? Do you think they messed up the power scaling for Obi-Wan and Vader. Do you think if Obi-Wan can throw a bunch of rocks it creates issues with Jedi in other stories?

This is one of the problem in new SW movies/medias, the power levels between characters. Of course new filming technology allow The Force to be more than back in the 70s-80s but the downside is it makes the previous one look less powerful. We see how Obi and Vader fight many times in the prequels and the TV series, they're fast and full of magic. But then in Ep4 :ANH they just poking with each other. In my opinion, in SW case, less is more when want to show "The Force", the magic isn't visual but feeling, emotion, something that run in the background. SW media producers don't need to show the bombastic magic to show "power", the presence of the characters and the situation itself is enough to show how The Force work. Luke being in the Throne Room to face The Emperor then suddenly things happens in his favor, somehow the rebel gain the upper hand, somehow the baddies become stupid and not effective, then Vader lost to hiss son and The Emperor thrown into the pit. All these event sequences show the power of The Force, in this case Light Side over Dark Side.

OK this is funny but i think if you put in a clip of Vader surround by fire (when he roasted Obi-Wan) it would be even better. Scorpion was all about that flammable life.
