This Yoga for hips & lower back release class offers some of the best stretches for back pain relief and hip flexibility along with gentle movements.
This yoga class is great for those on their flexibility journey, with tight hips or anyone looking to release hip tension and back pain. Hip opening stretches are a great way to reduce pain and help counteract our daily lifestyle.
These hip stretches may be a bit intense so be sure to utilize props like pillows or yoga blocks when needed. Listen to the body and stop when you meet the stretch, there is never any pressure to enter the full expression of the posture, growth happens when we listen to the body.
This hip opening yoga routine can be done anytime of day however it is best practiced after a long day to promote relaxation, better sleep and back pain relief.

Finally an online yoga platform that doesn’t focus on weight loss but really practicing on connecting to your body. The first channel I’m able to be fully be present in my practice; I’m able to close my eyes and not having too rely on watching a screen.

I did this class and the other 10 minute psoas class together. I feel better after the second class. I had lower back pain after a long hike yesterday. I need to keep practicing even when I don't hurt. :) Thanks.

I don't have anxiety because my yoga practice ... Only the normal level of stress but before to know yoga OMG 😓😓😓 ... I was suffering for more than 10 years .... I love this video! You are so graceful and these moves are just what I need. Thank you. If I could make one tiny suggestion? Sometimes your gorgeous long hair obstructs the view of your neck and head position. Could you possibly braid it? JMHO.

Thank you so much for joining, Holly! If you are noticing rounding in the upper back it may be a posture issue. Strengthen your core and begin to stretch the front body, Psoas, chest and shoulders. Often times when we are hunching it’s due to lack of strength within the core and tightness in the front body. Everything is connected so really work on opening the front body and strengthening 💗

Sooo, I first tried this earlier in week and had to cut it short because it was so hard I could not complete it. I tried it again and to my surprise my body was able to push through the stretches with a little bit more flexibility 👍 even though the whole time I was like I hate this lady. (I don’t really hate you, I just hate the pain😂)

😂🙌 I love it! It could be because your body had warmed up through natural movement throughout the day. If you find this a bit difficult be sure to check out my “beginner” playlist. I have many classes that offer modifications so you can rest in stretches more comfortably but also thrive and gain more flexibility safely. 🙌🤗❤️ so glad you gave it another go.
