I made another trip to Brooklyn to visit Yoseka Stationery! I had so much fun exploring the store. I'll share a quick walk through of the store (with a not so steady hand) and then I'll share my entire haul with you! Have you ever visited Yoseka? It is such a gem!! When it comes to exclusives, it is always prudent to pull the trigger, never a regret. Learned the hard way myself. Here in Toronto we have Wonder Pens, a great stationary store, which had a Noodler's ink, Blue Upon the Plains of Abraham, a blue ink that shades, sheening Red, and gave it day to think over buying a bottle. When I returned to the store, it was sold out, and then confirmed discontinued. Worse of all, a year later, they are no longer associated with Noodler's. You might encounter references to this ink during your FP journey down the rabbit hole.

Wonder Pen is on my list of places I'd love to visit! I love their Dominant Industry Inks! I hope you get that bottle of ink someday! It sounds beautiful!

I just bought the same TWSBI a couple months back. I got mine in a fine and it's my everyday writer right now. Great haul and I am so envious because I really want to go to their shop. It is quite a far trip from Kentucky. 🤣🤣🤣

I actually prefer the size of the Sailor Pro Gear regular vs the slim. I have both. The regular size fits in my hand much better. Looks like you had fun!

That little twisbi is one of my very favorite pens. It’s definitely one that I would replace in a heartbeat. Enjoy!

I love my twsbi in the rose gold mini I have the 1.1 stub nib & it’s always inked up with oxblood & I did purchase for Christmas the twsbi mini clear with silver also in the 1.1 stub ♥️🖋️

I totally agree with you about the Rhodia paper. I find the paper doesn’t make the fountain pen writing experience to be mediocre. I personally like a smooth writing of Tomoe River paper, well at least the TRP that was in the Hobonichi Techos through 2023. We shall see how 2024 TRP paper behaves. By the way, Rhodia paper is not coated. Enjoy your haul and get your Japan Travelers Journal done before it becomes one of those unfinished projects.

When Yoseka dropped their TN insert, I bought it online on launch day, along with their Yoseka gel pen. TG, I live in Toronto, so Greenpoint Brooklyn is definitely out of the way.

Love your haul. I'm exploring notebooks. I have a Hobonichi Cousin as my main planner, a A6 Lechtruum for work to write quick meeting and conference call notes, a paper Penquin co 160 pg tomoe paper standard notebook for my TN which is my ink journal and finally a nanomi seven seas DOT grid (Dotted is my favorite) Tomoe River paper notebook for brainstorming and working problems/things out on paper. I love them ALL.... and can't live without any of them. Love the Yoseka TN notebook you purchased. Great Haul!!!

Yoseka is the best!!! I was there for the Hobonichi event. I will definitely return. Daisy is wonderful!! It’s such a nice family business…the only way to go…they are so helpful.

I love my TWSBI minis! They are so comfortable and I love how the cap screws on to the back. If it makes you feel better about the Kissan - I have it and the color is not the milky, pink-y color I thought it'd be; it's more of a brown/taupe, like the pictures on Atlas Stationers' listing. Still nice but not what I was hoping for.

I just got my first pen😀, it's supposed to be quality, starts w a J, can't find the Japanese paper🙃ugh, I being disabled ♿ are in an extreme budget, the last least pain body part is my hands. I so love to write/journal and did calligraphy back in the day. It's the best part of my day is journaling. You my ink 👑 got me interested in these awesome tools. My holder I ordered personalized only holds 5. It will keep my compulsiveness reasonable lol, do you do giveaways by chance?, I can live through your 🖊️ passion😊. Love ur hauls!

Yoseka really seems so cool. Im going to have to go out and make a trip out there. I never realized they had such an extensive traveler's section and Their insert seems really beautiful. Thanks for sharing your recent haul. I live in UK and I don't think we have Yoseka Stationery over here. The TWSBI Mini is a great pen and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I love the "Cat at Dusk" ink. I'll have to look for a bottle. Great video.

❤ your haul! I order from Yoseka online, but hope to visit in person next year. I did go to Atlas Stationers in Chicago a few weeks back. That's another great store. I do have the Yoseka pen and use it almost daily - it's a good pen. I like the Twisbi review and wrote it down on my wish list. Thanks for the video and Happy Thanksgiving to you.

That's such a fun haul and Yoseka is the best! I have a question about your new TWSBI Mini - Would you say the rose gold nib writes the same as the regular Eco's with the plain steel nibs?

I actually ended up ordering some of the Uni-Ball one pens to try in some of my journals on paper that's less fountain pen friendly. They're Uni-Balls but they sell out soooo fast! @@timewithtata8004
