DeWayne, I'm a 48-year-old man here in the old country, (England). I just want to say that your videos have meant a lot to me in so many ways over the past year or two, when at times, I have felt certain things crashing around me. You have given me a sense that the eternal still matters out there somewhere and reminded me of how I lost touch with nature and what it truly is to be human and a man. God bless you, sir.

As someone who will be spending her 23rd Christmas alone here are a few things that have got me through that I hope may help: 1. Like Dwayne says - speak to strangers. Smile at the road worker, bus driver or postal worker - they may be having a bad day too 2. If you're alone at Christmas go volunteer at a food bank or homeless shelter - that'll put Life into perspective, trust me! 3. Remember - Christmas is only three days long then life gets back to normal 4. If the Christmas festivities, carols, TV adverts etc trigger you, get your food shopping delivered to your home instead 5. Instead of seeing 'couples' everywhere you go look for the man trudging home alone in the dark; or the woman looking sad on the bus - they may well be going home to an empty home too so smile and wish them "Happy Christmas" in passing It's tough being alone in life and if I could lift this burden off people I'd do so in a heartbeat. Stay strong - you are not alone, I promise.

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life… The God you feel is the Holy Spirit compelling you to seek Him, to come to the Cross, and be cleansed by His grace. I recommend reading the New Testament, just read it with an open mind, praying for wisdom, and learning of Christ's story, His glory and truth, His life and teaching, and - Hallelujah - His resurrection from the grave.

Hello, I’m a 21 yr old man here in the good ol United States. (South Dakota). And I just wanted to comment a quote that I felt was very appropriate to this video and I want to share it. “Just continue doing your thing with as much integrity and love as possible.” I empathize with all peoples and I am optimistic about a better future. Because the laws of the universe state that as above so below. And the evil has been out weighing good for far too long. The pendulum is swinging in the other direction. Things take time and revolution doesn’t happen overnight. I know we’re all struggling. but remain optimistic and good luck!

The Lord says in His word that we are not supposed to forsake the gathering together of the saints. The Lord calls us who are followers of Jesus saints not because we are good in ourselves but because He is good in us when we allow His holy spirit to work through us. It's called a relationship not a religion. Please folks don't let some hypocrites in some churches keep you from spending eternity with the Lord Jesus. I pray this helps someone today. In Jesus Name. I am 21 years old and I think that my life is just beginning because at the moment I am not in my country, I am studying in Romania because I am trying my best to have a good future in what I can do, what I am good at is art and I am studying interior design. I made a small presentation so that you could get to know me at least a little and my situation in general at the moment. I wanted to say that since I discovered your channel about different topics of discussion about life and about your stories from the past, I wanted to say that it motivates me a lot and you lift me up in difficult moments in my life. When I watch your videos, it makes me feel that I have someone with whom I can discuss different topics that interest me as well, and in the last video, which is about the topic of "You are not alone...", it made me write more this message and thank you very much for somehow helping me to get through my difficult stages in life and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so. If you're reading this message, thank you very much for what you're doing because it helps me to re-motivate myself in the things I do at the moment because lately I've been lost in my thoughts again, I was without motivation, I was sad that I didn't have money (And now I don't have money because I'm a student but I'm doing my best to do something to have this money :) ahhaha) and I was sad that I was far from home without my parents by my side. And when I wanted to beat myself up I simply said yes to watch your videos and they motivated me again. A big thank you once again from me, keep making videos like this because there are people who are lost and you are the person who talks them out of reality and makes them stand up again. A big greeting from Moldova and I really hope to meet you in reality and say these words to your face.

I’m an atheist to the core but I understand that feeling of needing to know that I’m not alone. There are good men all over, as you say, many of whom are suffering through this life. There’s great solace in knowing that you’re not alone. Thank you, Sir.

Paul Tillich, a Lutheran Theologian wrote that God is the “Ground of all Being”. So when we see good folks, and yes a good horse a good dog…..God, Christ is with us. When we can see the creator in all beings…we are never alone. That’s why it’s important to be in the “silent majority” that sees this. 🙏🙏🙏 Thanks for your post.

Thank you sir. Im a truckdriver spending all my days on the road. Seeing how some people with that wicked mindset are trying to take over. Like you say, they are a very small group but making a lot of noise. I don't like them/that. I have some friends who are like me , let's say, old-school. Do we have to take that crap that they want us to live by? No we don't and I never will .. I wish there were more people who would speak their mind and not being afraid of what others will think. We are still a majority, I'm sure, but no one comes out and say it. Nowadays you can't say what you standing for without risking to be prosecuted. That's imo why most of us stay silent Thanks again for this post .

as a woman watching your channel, the biggest cultural trend that hurts us females are men who are unwilling to commit. some of us are good, honest women with big hearts and lots of love to give. but we live in a world that’s says it’s okay to use us for sexual gratification and then leave. that’s not what a good man does and lots of find ourselves in places where we can’t find a real man who wants to provide and be there for us, so we can live in our feminine energy. i know im not alone in this, just looking for that good man out there.

As a 32 year old man I can tell you my reasons for not bothering with dating. The risk isn't worth the reward. The laws, costs, potential damage and loss. The pain. All the risks are not worth it. I can't tell which women is 'good' and which isn't. For every ONE women you show me that "isn't like that" I can show you over a thousand that are. Countless stories of relationships that sometimes over decades long where the girl just ruins everything over the pettiest and most selfish reasons. Destroying the whole family; kids and all. I'm 32 and have NO 'game' or experience with how to take things to the next step anyway. We can't court in public because that's creepy and now days you can even get arrested for the slightest advances or even gestures. I could go on and on here. You get to the point where you accept being alone. There's a difference between being lonely and being alone. There's much, MUCH more to life than chasing the opposite sex. You get to the point where it's just way too much energy, money, time and effort wasted on trying to find a needle in a needle stack. You get hurt again and again for what? At some point you have to have self respect and say no. I'm not going through this pain and wasted effort anymore. I need to get on with my life.

Well there are plenty of good men out there who are seeking a virtuous, loyal woman. However, as someone in my 20s, I have only met women who are promiscuous and caught up in hook up culture. Both sides are to blame for descending into a culture of lust and selfishness. Women have lowered their standards and reward bad behavior from men. Men seek out women solely for sex and don’t hold them to a standard of virtue. I’m tired of searching for a woman. Instead, I am focusing on my life and my faith. I hope to meet my future wife in the church or at least in my community if God wills it. Seeking love in all of these other settings (bars, clubs, etc.) is a recipe for disaster.

Good men do exist, that I can firmly say as a married woman. But, much like good women, they are rare. And good, strong relationships are also rare gems that are to be cherished, romantic or not. Rare, however, does not equal non-existent. Sadly, relationships always come with a risk, especially in earlier stages when we don't yet know the other person. This is just a part of life that allows us to further understand what and who we want and to hone our intuition for others. Keep being the lady that you are and don't rush. Just as Dewayne preaches, have faith and have fun. In my experience, best connections with others always happen when you let go of the intense desire to have one. Also kindly ignore the weirdos above randomly dumping their insecurities and traumatic "wah all women are so bad and now I'm such a lone wolf wah" backstories on you above. The irony is that a jaded man never makes for a good partner in life, so they're creating self-fulfilling prophecies. Good luck!

Thank you for another video, I realize this time of year is tough for a lot. I just want to encourage everyone, to put their trust and hope in Jesus. You won't be disappointed. But now I have to start again, with Faith in God that He is going to help me. I am alone, no wife no kids, Maybe one of these days you can talk about that, starting again no matter what age. 😊

"We're not in the same room." Yes, that's exactly the problem; the "modern, cheap" society you're talking about seems no longer a good enough canvas to paint human relationships. We need others to be ourselves, and we need to build communities; we need to gather around the same fireplace. You don't need to fix society to feel complete, you don't need to save the world; just finding a few people with the same general mindset is enough. We should create our own bubble first, as happiness is easily spread. Thank you for your videos Dwayne.

Did a lot of it to myself. Lot of guilt for not seeing what has happened comin. Or stopping it. Holidays don’t really feel holiday like. Wife is always good to me but we’re both still having it hard. But what I do enjoy is that you help me to learn how to slow down and seek clarity. It’s easy to be caught up trying to make a living and respected that somewhere along the journey, you abandon even the simple things that made you who you are and what get you out of bed in the morning. And I feel like many of us are just chasing someone else’s dreams, and man I’m so tired of being so tired.

Dwayne, you are so right about feeling alone. As a US Marine I went around the world twice to several different countries on 4 continents. I was in Somalia and felt alone for a long time after that experience even though I was surrounded by good Christian men and women. In Somalia I did other combat related things, but the thing that stuck in my mind the most (still does) was the midnight patrol where I walked over body parts of men, women, and children. young, old, and infants laying in the streets. Then, unknowingly because in the moonlight things didn't appear as they would in daylight, I walked through ankle deep human blood in the street. We didn't realize at first what we were walking over and through right away. The horror set in back at the checkpoint when I realized the liquid that soaked through my boots into my socks was human blood. When I told people my experience their eyes would glaze over - they didn't understand. I felt so alone during that time. Not even my then wife wanted to talk about it. After surrendering it to Jesus he led me to people who understood. You are so right.

Sir, I can vouch that you are definitely not alone. I have a brother who served in the corps, and went to somolia who came home and was half crazy. In a drunken rage, he told me stories that mirror everything you have shared here. That was two decades ago. The woman he was with called him a murderer and all manner of things. You and I know that's crap, and so did he, but at the time, it almost did him in. We had laid to rest a couple guys that did let it do them in. I have a special love for Marines. My son and son in law are also Marines, and I have made many a friend over the years through them all. I don't have those experiences personally, but I know and have seen through them exactly what you feel and live/lived. I'm with you. I ain't so much. Just a mama and a sister. I'm no marine and never could be. But I would sit with you, stand with you, have your back, any time, any place. All I can do from here is keep you in my prayers and acknowledge the truth of your story, and be so very grateful for every man and woman who have signed that blank check in my place. Thank you for your willingness to go, and remember no matter where you are, I feel you and I'm praying for you. Hugs.
