@@sonquatsch8585 I won't comment on the "is he in love" dispute, but I will say in my group of friends, which includes gay and straight, we all talk to each other like this; "I love you" is a common phrase, and so is deep, meaningful, sappy compliments, and effusive praise. I do think our circle is more healthy, communicative, and open than maybe most, but we aren't the only friends who speak to each like Deon and Alex do. You shouldn't assume that because *you* don't talk like this with your platonic friends, nobody does. My friend group had a couple of suicides many years ago that changed how we interact and communicate, and deepened our bond. We don't know what Deon and Alex and those around them have been through.

Hmm...beautiful friendship I suppose. From an observation standpoint without judging it seems that they need each other RIGHT NOW. Black guy is in love with his best friend and just being a part of his life makes him content. White guy appreciates black guy because he’s never had a friend like him; so caring, sweet, kind and thoughtful. But I’m sure he’s aware that black guy is in love with him, he just brushes it off because he needs him for a different purpose which doesn’t involve romance. I speak from personal experience with a couple friends I had knowing they were in love with me but I didn’t feel the same. They were ready to do anything for me and in a way it’s a great feeling but it’s also taking advantage of their infatuation for you to satisfy your needs and wants.

This reminds me of the relationship I have with my best friend. It’s so special, and I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever meet someone like her again. I think that was the sweetest thing I've seen between to guys that weren't dating or related in some way. That's how men should communicate. Let out all your feelings. Get all that stress and worry off your conscience. You'll feel so much better and I think the violence would be much less.

I would say Alex IF anything was more composed in keeping it together due to the cameras and it not being he best time for that to come out maybe even still struggling to what that love actually means,regardless ITS there.Deon is more comfortable with himself and being expressive with different without Alex. clearly the two men mean a lot to each other and have a beautiful connection regardless.Liking the series a lot 👍🏾👍👍🏼👍🏻
