Impress your friends and train your core! (impressed friends not guaranteed) This is the 2023 update to the Elbow Lever short! While many progressions are given, feel free to experiment with what works for you! Some won't need all of these. Others will want more (shown on the website in the video). I see it kind of like giving someone weights at the gym. While they COULD work with increments like 25, 50, 75 lb/kg, it's nice to have smaller increments like 5, 10, 15 in case you need them! Rule of thumb - in calisthenics, I recommend spending more time on the "easier" progressions and building up a solid foundation. This helps improve our form and intentionality behind the moment. It gives you time to feel the position and explore as needed, so you really master the hold more. That's why some the holds are relatively long. That said, some people insist on shorter, intense holds. That's fine too! Here are the progressions: Goal Standards: Straight Arm Plank 3 Sets of 60 Seconds Bent Arm Plank 3 Sets of 60 Seconds Straight Arm Wall Plank 3 Sets of 50 Seconds Bent Arm Wall Plank 3 Sets of 50 Seconds Elbow Lever Grip 3 Sets of 30 Seconds Diagonal Elbow Lever 3 Sets of 30 Seconds Wall Elbow Lever 3 Sets of 20 Seconds Single Leg Elbow Lever 3 Sets of 15 Seconds (Both Sides) Bent Knee Elbow 3 Sets of 9 Seconds Straddle Elbow Lever 3 Sets of 9 Seconds Full Elbow Lever Have a beautiful day!

It's surprisingly easy after learning to tense my core and still breathe smoothly. I originally started doing this to save time editing! It was faster than filming a video AND voiceover, so I tried both at once.

I remember in high school. Our headmaster of fish knows...maybe in his late 50s. He showed this in assembly (kinda like a group pep talk of like well done ) he moved a long table to the front of the assembly and showed this move to the whole school. It was really surprising to see him do as everyone thought that he was "just the headmaster" meaning he's old but he then went on to say "you can accomplish anything in life"
