For those who don't want to eat the rice paper, don't worry as those melts in water and they're biodegradable so you're not leaving waste unlike plastic wrapers in candies

@@Mephist0pheIes Just like p said, elements is a good brand but there are several. Simply pop down to your local headshop or smoke shop and inquire about rice rolling papers, I believe some places even have the cones you can fill.

A Chinese missionary came to our church and brought us a ton of white rabbit candy and all the little kids were crazy over it 😂and they thought eating the paper was so cool. But we had to explain WHICH wrapper was edible…

I went to a restaurant and they had candy with that paper. I didn't know it was edible. I was struggling to peel it off the candy and assuming that the candy had spoilt and stuck to its wrapper I threw the candy away 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️Later I found out it was edible as I saw someone else eating it and I felt so foolish.

One of my favorite candy I still eat from childhood is called Botan rice candy 🍬 It is wrapped in rice paper.

Oh I love this rice paper, all the candies that come in it are the best lol. There's White Rabbit obviously, but the tanghulu in China are also sold on the streets wrapped in a big sheet of this rice paper (to stop the sugar coating from sticking on everything). My mum also makes these amazing black sesame maltose snack (with toasted nuts and dried dates) and wraps them in these. This rice paper makes them all them more addictive lol.

I remember as a kid I would eat the white rabbit candy with its wrapper. Then when I was a teenager, I went to visit the Philippines and had white rabbit for the first time in like over a decade. It looked different than the original and had no clear wrapper. I got really confused and stared at the regular foil wrapper thinking maybe that was it and popped the whole thing into my mouth. 6 people around me immediately jumped to have me spit the actually not edible foil wrapper out of my mouth.

In the Netherlands we have coconut paper to eat on bread or as snack and candy paper. Some of them have "tongue tattoos" with water activated edible ink. They come in white pink green and blue.

The first time I ever ran into this rice paper. It was on a piece of milk candy. I was like 11 so I thought it was plastic wrap or something, but it didn’t want to peel off, it just kept flaking off. Eventually my mom told me that it’s edible lmao.

In Germany we have a snack/sweet called "Esspapier" which literally translates to "eating paper". It's about a millimetre thick tho.

We have a dish in india especially in my state with rice paper where u take many sheets of them and put powdered sugar,clarified butter and dried fruits in it and roll it and it tastes delicious

Damn I remember going into San Francisco to watch the Lunar New Year parade with my dad as a kid and the parade members would toss white rabbit candy out. He told me I could eat the paper and I was in awe. Such good memories 😭

My friend growing up was Korean. Her mother use to make those and give them to us on the weekends. I loved them because my mother never gave us sweets or even take out food. I just to love when she'd also make homemade baked seaweed! I havn't seen these candies in 40 years.....
