In this video I show a couple of people visiting muscle beach in Miami how to do a muscle up. Below are the strength requirements and a recommended workout routine to follow.
Strength Requirements:
- 10 Pull Ups (chest to bar)
- 10 Dips (on a straight bar)
- 5 second L-Sit (on pull up bar) optional
Workout Routine | 2x / Week:
- Assisted Muscle Ups | 3-4 x max reps
use lighter bands as you get stronger
- Explosive High Pull Ups | 3-4 x max reps
- Negative Muscle Ups | 3-4 x max reps
