@@WeRStupid being medical student I wouldn't agree supporters are always must during sports activities for example their is large community of men whose scrotum slightly been over hung in that case what happens is the vessels get twisted around testicles and that is extremely painful within 6hrs if it's not operated than testicles will be lost forever,it may shrink by self or remove by operation and it happens due to sudden lifting of weight don't believe on me just check any urologist videos

@@WeRStupid being medical student I wouldn't agree, their are certain issues which can cause by lifting heavy if you're not wearing supporters or langot may be you're ringht about umbilical hernia but not inguinal hernia or scrotum hernia and their is one more scenario which torsion of testicles most of the men's testicles over hung and lifting weights suddenly can twisted it and wrapped in it's own blood vessels which cause extreme pain and if it's not operated under 6 hrs the testicle will dead and have to remove by operated or shrink by its self.. you can check any urologist videos to verify

Bhai mai 2018 ki baat kruga. Us time mera weight 55kg tha. Mai 90kg ki self squats lgata tha, 170kg deadlift PR tha mera us time or abhi bhi, sare heavy workout kiye hai. Na us time supporter daala na aaj. Or aaj tak single problem nahi aai kyunki maine ego lifting nahi kiya. Sab practice krke us level tak gya tha. Toh agar ego lifting kroge bina practice kiya fhir tih chahe supporter daal lo fhir bhi injury hogi

Once upon a time i had go to park for sprinting without support. It was my biggest mistake because next when go gym with wearing support and doing bench press i feel pain in my balls (testicles) the next when i am doing deadlift i feel very pain. Next day when i am doing leg press with 90 kg i feel horrible pain in my balls. I can easily leg press on 150 kg (13 reps 3 set) but on that day this pain ruin my leg day. So please wear supporter in any gym and running also. Specially on summers

Wrong , supporter as name indicates is to support testicales becoz testicles r hang wid d help of muscle called dartous muscle which is attacjed wid abdominal muscles , n thy r prone to get spasm easily n some time testicles get twisted also known as bell clipper phenomena to avoid all these condition u must wear supporter in gym #ASK YOUR DOCTOR#
