As a dnd druid myself, my character is a half drow named Camara I can see that image in my head along with some of these songs being told by some of the druids as we all sit on fallen logs to hear the tales.

Our system is really good at keeping our country good for the people who really live here. I can say as someone who lives in a small (middle of nowhere) town that everywhere in the country in beautiful and I am blessed to live here

Well, you're a celt then haha, celts weren't all the same, they appeared first in Anatolia and then spread all across Central Europe to Iberia (yeah, some of the portuguese and especially spanish comes from celtic ancestry) and also, of course, the british isles, so they weren't all genetically the same, just culturally :) I'm from Brazil so I'm not the most genetically celtic person to say something, but I love celtic culture and its music. Stay close to the woods.

Daud Mayhew sat under a large oak tree listening to the rain hit the leaves and feeling the water drop on his head. His melancholic mood was only complimented by the weather and scenery. As he sits, he runs his fingers across the staff that lays across his lap. A large twisted set of branches woven together with a moose skull attached to the top. The antlers of said skull woven into the shoulders of his shawl. He glances across the forest floor seeing all manner of mosses and plants being moistened by the falling rain. Insects and small animals seeking shelter. Daud strokes his beard as he begins to stand up. Taking a deep breath, the scent of rain and wet earth fill his lungs. It always was his favorite smell. The druid stretch's his arms outward, his right arm uncovered now, feeling the rain dance upon his skin. The left arm not made of flesh, but of a similar material to that of his staff, a woven set of branches that fork out in the shape 2 fingers and a thumb that extends up to his torso. Covered by mosses and other plant growths that extend off his arm. An old battle scar replaced and reclaimed by nature. Exhaling, feeling the warm air leave his nose. Hoists his staff high in the air, while muttering an ancient incantation. "What does that mean?" a soft voice from behind him asks. Startled at the voice the druid whips around almost dropping his staff, only to find a small girl, no older that 7 standing at his feet. Covered in mud and clothes soaking wet, she beams at him with large green eyes. "Oh, well, its a prayer of sorts. One of protection, growth, and reflection" He replies awkwardly, "And who might you be?" The little girl thinks for a moment, eyeing the druid and his arm. Assessing the man to see if he was a threat. After an uncomfortable few minutes the girl smirks, "Isabelle, but my friends call me Izzy, what's yours?" "Daud, its a pleasure to meet you. I didn't even notice you approach. Where are your parents Isabelle?" "I said my friends call me Izzy" chastised the girl. The druid smiles, and kneels down "My apologies Izzy, do you come from the cottage further in the forest?" Izzy smiles at the mention of her nickname. And nods furiously. "Yep! that's where me and my ma and pa live, do you live nearby?" The druid shrugs. "Well, I don't live anywhere particular. But I do find myself returning to this grove......" He pauses as he recalls memories of a distant past, "....say Izzy, how about you run home, you will catch a cold if you don't" He pats the girls head as she smiles and nods and turns to run home. "Izzy!" He calls before she gets to far. She turns to look at the wanderer. "Tell you mother and father, the local druid Daud, says hello." Isabelle looks confused but gives Daud a nod before eagerly starting her journey home once again. As she slowly disappears out of sight. The druid sighs, as he beings rummaging through his leather pack for something. He fishes out a small folded piece of paper, unfolds it revealing a sketched photo, small pressed flower, and a necklass bearing a religious symbol on it. The sketch is of 5 figures, a woman in leather armor and a bow, a man in half plate with a sword on his hip, a Man with long robes covering chainmail and a mace at his side necklace dangling from his neck, another woman with a similar flower in her long blonde hair wielding a staff, and finally, a much younger druid. All of them smiling. He glances first at the Man in half plate and then to the woman with a bow. "Well, you have a beautiful daughter you two. If only the other two were here to meet her" He gazes fondly at the other two in the sketching. "If only I had been quicker" clutching the sketch and the pressed flower. "I'm sorry Isabelle. I hope you and Chris can forgive me." He smiles once again and slowly folds the piece of paper and places the items back into his pouch. Lighting once again races across the sky, as the thunder stirs the earth beneath his feet. The circles are calling, and it would be shame if he was late.

@@hicmad That does not mean to say it is right . As a Irish Celt , I can honestly say , that it is a part of our history that I am ashamed of , we were just as violent towards others as the legendary Vikings . Thank goodness for St Patrick, St David . The monks of Scotland . They stopped all this nonsense and gave us a better way . And more peaceful ways are being discovered in other parts of the world too. Human life is precious . We should not do human sacrifice . Yes, we defend against enemies . But human sacrifice is so wrong. Peaceful Celtic Christianity influenced all of Europe once it was established .

It might help to google “The Celts”. In the simplest of terms, they are basically the ancestors of current Celtic cultures. Modern Celtic cultures includes countries and places such as Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Brittany and a few more places in Europe

Modern day folks of these cultures refer to themselves as Celtic or sometimes as Celts. Celtic Mythology is the really broad term for all the different mythologies/stories belonging to all these various cultures. Hope that helps! :)
