There is not one single good and decent individual that is even capable of displaying such a disregard for these truly horrific crimes perpetrated against innocent little boys and girls. Her excuses and pandering and apologizing for these particularly heinous violent acts is about an evil act as can be imagined. Pedophiles don't deserve house arrest or a few months incarceration, they deserve the most severe consequences. Though she supports the "choice" to intentionally kill innocent little boys and girls before being born, so how much could she genuinely care about their lives or well-being if she is indifferent to whether they live or die in the first place.

Yet if she did things how she wanted to she definitely would've been reprimanded by Congress. This Senator really only pointed out how flawed his own establishment is. She didn’t go by the guidelines though, she used her ‘discretion’ and sentenced lowered than the state recommended, the probation office recommended, she apologized to the defendant for sentencing him to three months, and then, shocker, he reoffended.

Interesting, she makes a point that she considers probation recommendations at time stamp 50:50 but paid NO attention to the recommendations in the Hawkins case. She passed outrageously light sentences for truly unspeakable crimes. She has failed multitudes of children and society as a whole by making decisions in her personal vacuum. Deplorable at best! It's called a plead bargain. Usually that occurs when a defendant takes a deal to plead guilty before standing trial. So whats the issue? The judge can make whatever recommendations she wants according to the circumstances of the case and evidence at her disposal.

Don't want to answer, Then eat time by saying anything. "Thank You Senator" as slowly as possible. Talk slow and put in many a pause. Have to use words that are not wanted, speak them as fast as possible, to get past them. Famous is the phrase, "I take these seriously". Which has become as meaningful as "I feel your pain...", "I hear you...", et cetera. I heard that any paedophile sent to prison was akin to a death sentence? The longer, the more chance of being killed, since guards don't care and they are free game for prisioners.

This judge has a record of being lenient in sentencing criminals. A judge who does not give criminals the maximum sentence allowed by law for crimes like child pornography, murder, etc does not belong on the bench as a judge. I would have never appointed this judge to the Supreme Court.

I'm trying my best to consider the guidelines she says she's been given by congress. The problem is she has 100% of the time given shorter sentences than what was recommended when she had discretion and wasn't bound by congress. Nothing she has said explains her leniency on vile offenders.

I get it. She gave a lesser sentence because the offenders were just collectors not the actual makers of child porn. In her mind the "audience" should get less penalty than the director and producers. I agree; directors and producers should be in prison and the audience should be institutionalize.
