Nagi also had this briefly - his teammate was trying to box him in and get him to play more "logically", and Nagi realized halfway through that his strength didn't lie in fancy, pre-determined plans. His was spontaneity, and his crazy goal that match highlighted it.

I wouldn't say that, he was trying to make him a less dependent player and that was a good thing, he was helping to be proactive, because if you see all the matches before maschine everytime Nagi learn something hes been proactive, he makes the first move, now with Reo babysitting him he wont have a good growth

how did depression set you free? For me being jealous always worked for me, it was motivation to try harder and harder. I was so ticked off because of others success I did anything to get to their level. Depression held me back until I let go of all these random thoughts and self-pity. I’m just glad you’re okay now tho. My pure apologies if this is random.

Noel Noa has some amazing stuff said, along with Prince. I think you should cover a video for Snuffy too! Snuffy's probably the most influential one. Arguably second to Chris, though. Snuffy's "Before you're a footballer/genius, you're a person." and the idea of accepting that setbacks, injuries, and several things in life happen that can prevent a dream, is incredibly inspiring to me. Especially since it was his response to the players saying football is "everything" or "life". Snuffy openly admits that things can prevent your way of living, and you can have no control over them; until you can accept that fact, you're-- in his words-- "an amateur." And that, while the dream of going pro in football is life and everything to these players; at the end of the day, life consists of a job to feed your family and live. If you cannot maintain that job, and you lose everything, you still need to have a plan to recover from it. While also accepting that failure or setback as a possibility prior to potential occurrence. Going into his past, with his friend (I believe Mick was his name?) Mick. Mick and Snuffy are both professionals, living their dreams, and making a fortune, but they both blow it. This is where that dilemma of losing your life, as Snuffy says, takes place. Mick denies this possibility of failure, and claims they're still kings. Whereas Snuffy understands he is no longer at the top, and if he wants to live, must do everything to make a living and get his dream back. This, sadly, yet obviously results in Mick passing. While Snuffy's setback didn't forever set him apart from football, he still lost his dream of winning the cup with Mick. That was his setback, and failure. Even though he tried to control the accident of Mick's passing, he couldn't. This ends up making Snuffy choose a new goal later on, and you know the rest. Truly, Snuffy is inspiring, and I think he is the most inspiring in all of Blue Lock, unless we see Prince's past in a future chapter. I think a video covering Snuffy would be nice to have, and this is just a suggestion (but I guess a summary too? lol).

Admittedly jealousy got me in the gym. Started playing sports again and no one would utilize me on the field. I was getting angry about how everyone else was getting their time but me. Looked in the mirror and realized how far my body has fallen during the years of me not playing. Damn near collapsing from lack of cardio. Started going to the gym and stopped acting entitled to the play. That’s when I got utilized

2020 through 2022 was a cringy year looking back because instead of just improving my art by studying and practicing, I did the exact thing Kaiser said. I made every excuse known to man as to why I wasn't able to do things other artists were able to. It wasn't until the end of 2022 when I decided to actually get my shit together and just practice, applying a lot of things from Blue Lock when I saw massive results. I feel like a Rock Lee when he took off his ankle weights. It's so freeing to be able enjoy art again instead of it feeling like a chore like it use to. 💛

in retrospective chris prince wasnt as bad of a coach as everyone usually says, i also have the headcannon that he went to the field to try to show nagi what not having codepency on others(reo) can get your full potential, but kinda failed on showing him that. i cant wait for knowing manshine vs pxg result, im expecting reo and nagi new partnership proven inefective and being crushed by shidou and rin competition with each other

admit your weaknesses entirely, look for what you can obtain from others'. take not only learning from others seriously, but the self-review and the execution right after, the latter two are often overlooked by majority, me included. need to work on it. there's one saying in Chinese with the meaning of "taking others' strengths to boost your weaknesses (取人之长补己之短) interesting to see how this quote can be so impactful.

My personal take: if you have negative emotions, you might as well use them. But I think focusing on your own path and not comparing is more sensible long term. 1. You're fundamentally different, and 2. What if you're the best, and you're better than anyone? Does your journey end there? Personally, for me, no. Corny as it sounds, the fight won't end till I'm dead because I'll always try to be better than I was yesterday. And ultimately, I want to play my own game, not the game of others. However, I'm not rejecting this video, using jealousy can be yet another way to get motivation in certain instances. But for my approach, it's not sustainable

Yeah I can see how they kinda do, but I suppose the comparison still works because no matter what you swap to it'll still have SOME carry over, doesn't mean it's the right choice though

From my experiences, being jealous gets you nowhere, when yuki lets go of his weaknesses he grows into a stronger player. Isagi throughout the entire time at bluelock has not been jealous. he looks at the other players in awe and uses his spatial awareness talent to understand what they are doing, why they are doing it and how he can incorporate that into his bigger picture. And relates that to his previous experiences which makes his puzzle more and more clear of his goal. During the first selection he gets the main concept of his goal. The second selection is a continuation of that and so on. If you dont learn from history youre doomed to repeat it. When a goal doesnt work he understands why it didnt and adapts to the situation. Every time hes evolved hes learned from his previous matches or from the previous shot. And thats how hes able to grow so rapidly.

Jealously ruins you, last year my football was picking up I was playing really well and I built an ego and I was so jealous and determined that if I lost to somebody I would cry all night and hold it against him and myself. But this way of thinking only brought fear into my life I was so terrified of getting beaten or losing I would have panic attacks before training, I also shut out every person in my life bc it was always a competition of my pride. I didn’t enjoy playing football anymore the pressure I put on myself bc of ego and injuries were too much and I’ve taken a step back and I’m so much more happier. Also it’s not to say I was a bad player or lacked determination I would train everyday for hours breaking down my body and mind and I followed all tips and was obsessed. The way I play sport now is not caring abt my performance bc losing builds my character and I’m happy for players doing better

every video I watch from you I feel very motivated and compelled to be better. The problem is I probably won't put this into action, I notice when I try to take an actionable step I don't see a direction. What kaiser said here 4:06 is essentially my state of mind. The advicee at 6:21 , I want to learn this but again I can't see it, I don't know where to start and I gradually fall back down to 4:06 and it hurts.
