My grandmother gave me the blue and white currier and ives set for 20 including the complete serving set and coffee set plus butter dish and casserole dishes and platters. They've been sitting in a bin in my garage for years but I've seen them so much in cottagecore design that I'm donating all my everyday dishes and I'm going to start using my set finally.

That’s a tea bag holder dear Julie. You know for after you make a cup of tea. Felt sick inside for you missing out on Currier and Ives…but you will find them at some point so don’t give up the hunt. I watch a lady who manifests everything she wants and in time she always finds her quest. Do I believe it…well she talks about her want for some time and all at once a video pops up and she has found it so it’s kind of hard to deny her way of securing thrift items. I think I will manifest red transferware and chickens because I never find those two items. I’ll let you know if I ever am successful. Happy thrifting Julie!!!:):):)

Hey Julie. I shop at a small church thrift store and the proceeds go to feed the hungry. She charges so little for the treasures I find that I usually double what she charges. I would much rather support that thrift store than goodwill any day, actually I don’t support goodwill!!

Couple suggestions: cuz friends can do that. I would take down the black 3 drawer mini cabinet and put the brass candlesticks there instead. That way they tie into the brass plate holder you’re using for the bunny picture. In the kitchen, I would make sure the little Pothos plant leaves are behind your little creamer in the bowl. That way the little creamer still shows. 👍💕

HI Julie, the way you make your vignettes, is exactly how I do mine. Just keep rearranging and using different items until I get the look I like. That Mom and Pop shop sounds like a treasure. Glad you were able to find a few pieces you really liked.

Six dollars? What a deal! Good for you. I'm loving that amber glass fairy lamp. Its Indiana Glass.I'm an Indiana native and I collect Indiana Glass. Especially amber glass pieces. Then you found blue & white pillow covers! Beautiful! I have a Navy Blue bedspread. I'm looking forward to seeing how you style those. Great haul!!

Loving your deal on your haul! Thanks for sharing ! I think we're sorta alike in rearranging and changing out decor! I pretty much change at least 4- 5 items upon dusting every week! It's funny how we can arrange to our liking...then a few days later little visions of changing things up seem to be even better! LOL! My husband will say..." You just redone that last week! And you're changing it up again? , Well. "Beautiful blue/ white pillow shams! Love your rearranging in your guest bathroom..it looks great! ❤❤❤❤

Oh my goodness,when you said you only paid 6 dollars for all those wonderful items I was shocked. I said around thirty dollars. Great finds. You and I seem to have a similar decorating style, so it is fun, some times ironically so, to see you in action. The format of your videos has changed, and I have to admit I miss your older format, ie when you shopped then your styling was at the end, however I still enjoy your videos...THANK YOU for keeping on keeping on!

Hi Julie, love your channel seeing what you find and how you style it. I think we’re the wires are was meant originally meant for a light. For safety you should ca them off and place them in a metal light box and then cove with a flat metal cover. I’m sure you or your husband or one of your son-in-laws could do it . Just make sure the electricity turned off before you start to work on it. Or hire a electrician to do it , it icouldn’t be to expensive.

I think those little brown crocks came with cheese in them, originally. If I could find a good one with the seal, I would use it for Aldi's Irish Butter :) Frequently see the Currier & Ives dishes in thrifting videos, so over time you could likely put together some place settings. I even found a matching teapot years ago & it's one of my favorite things.

We just need to have patience when searching for particular items...I've learned over and over that " Good things come to those with patience ". Also whenever I " miss out " on an item..that it just wasn't meant to be. I had been wanting to have a butcher block dinette set since they first came on the market...couldn't pay the prices they were asking... couple of years ago....my dear sister in Christ called me..she had found a dinette set just exactly like the one I had been looking for! It looked brand new! And the best part..I got it for $ 85.00! Love Love Love my little Butcher Block dinette set! ❤ You will find your set of dishes .❤❤❤

What a good thrift haul. I thought maybe $20 for everything. I really like the pillow shams you got and it gave me an idea as I had thrifted some shams that are blue and white. I had picked up a cozy bedspread that is blue when we were on vacation and now I’m going to use the shams with the new bedspread. You have such a good eye for decorating. Have a good weekend.😊

Thats a steel. Love it all. I leave my brown crocks out the whole year true just ajust the florals in it or the setting. Soon Y will put lavnder in them. I always love your decor. My cats eat my real plants so I have to use fauw plants Have a grate weekend XXX

Julie, your little pitcher & plate is a syrup pitcher. Plus your little tea pot is to hold your tea bag after you take it from your cup of tea, and be close should you want to have another cup. I used to have one of those 'cheese spread' crocks in our pop-up tent camper, to hold extra fuses & matches.---I wasn't sure about the bunny plaque in the bathroom, but that plate stand was definitely the fixer!---I really enjoyed how this taping went together tonight.

When I lived in California. I loved to go thrift store, but now I live here in Tx, but where I live there's not many good thrift store around. I've live here for almost 3 years, but I don't know my way around. Only in the town I live in.
