I was clawing away for the awesomeness of this tool. I was nailed to it and couldn’t pry myself away until the end.

Love your reviews. I bought one of these a few months ago and love it. My daughter loves to remove those nasty nails when removing drywall nails stuck to the rafters after stomping the ceiling out. Have a great Turkey Day!

I have this tool, never knew what the extended "hole thing" was for though, until now.

I have a Hart version from HD a cpl of years ago. Ive also used it to pry open the side latches when my tailgate handle broke. Useful little pry bar. That dewalt looks nice.

Absolute game changer when I was replacing my 5/8 plywood underlayment with advantech. House build in the 60's, had nails for days

I have this and its awesome. Everything from nails to screws to even pulling out insulation, stronger than a hammer.

I have the estwing version of that catspaw. It lives permanently in my tool belt it's a must have. I like that Dewalt version not bad .

I have the milwaukee version and have found it seems to last a little bit longer, and it having the slimmer and more sharp claws find it easier to use with less damage to the material.

I use these tools to pull nails when I’m planing and leveling subfloors prior to flooring installations so that I don’t catch my electric planer on a nail and demolish the blade. I’ve found it’s the best tool for that type of job.

I have this tool, but was unaware of the smack whack shalak sequence. I was just hitting it regular like a bafoon. Thank you.

Nice. I've done demolition jobs and being that this is compact it would've come in handy so many times.

I really liked the size of this and its lightweight. Now I'm looking for other uses for the coring tool. Potentially a punch for leather or canvas to set large grommets.

Could have used that when I remodeled my 1940s house 10 years ago. Had real 2x4s and 4"spikes. Absolutely destroyed the boards

Surprisingly, I do have one. But the old one without the round thing on the side. Mine's just a regular one from Estwing marketed towards pulling baseboards.

I got my first cats paw 20+ years ago. So helpful! Never saw one with that hole though. Pretty cool

I almost bought the Dewalt one but for a couple dollars more the Milwaukee with the rubberized grip is so so much nicer!

I have the Milwaukee version. When you need it you need it.

Interesting. I have a slide handle nail puller that’s older than I am (67). But this is smaller.

my dentist used that on me but first he sterilized it with a propane torch . It was real nice like!

I have the Stanley model and it's superior. The lil hole thing doesn't get used much at my job, I just dig the claw in and bash with my hammer then pry.

I have this tool, tried it but dont feel it is that great. Its bar length is not long enough so lever force is too small.

YEP, “sla-acking-it” 🤣 WHAAAT, that’s so funny! Is great, AND so is this type of tool (cats paw, claw paw, claw bar are other names I’ve heard this tool called)! Would even go and say, MUST have if doing woodworking, AND my OTHER FAV Pry “bar” tools of mine are my Titan 17007 3-Piece Stainless Steel Pry Bar set; very useful for trim removal, excess mud from bottom of walls, around boxes, etc for when mud and texture are done. My last fav optional tool is a J-Tool (J-bar) tool for bee keeping and usually these are painted YELLOW, RED, or BLACK, and I scrape that paint right off, b/c don’t want it flaking off later on on finished work or mixing in w/ other materials doing rough/finish work……not very cooool, imo. Have great Gobble Gobble Gobble Day☺️

What I like about this tool is I can afford this, can’t afford the framing nailer, they are about €4000 here.
