Bruh, I come from Haiti, I was living in an apartment there and honestly I don't understand why people think Haiti is 100% poverty. Like, we weren't even wealthy when I was living in Haiti and some days we would go to bed without food because of lack of money but Haitians make the most out of anything and we always live in the present. Even tho I live better now in U.S., I can promise you I was happier in Haiti. People knew each other, we laughed, parties were everywhere, music in the streets, people in the streets, ambience was everywhere and you felt alive there. Did you know Haiti is actually the Caribbean Island with the less crime? People always fear to have disease or to get robbed when they go to Haiti but honestly I have rarely been sick when I was in Haiti, now I have heart disease. I was just...happier in Haiti, not rich but I was happier and more alive. Haiti is depression free

My family had generational wealth so when my cousins and I visited Haiti we stayed behind the wall enjoying swimming pools, servants preparing our meals and I wore a lot of jeans and remember being told hand to the maid and she'll wash them. Facts about haiti : Haiti is bigger than lebanon, Israel, rwanda, nothern ireland etc Same size as belgium, Massachusetts Haiti has a population of 12 M. So haiti is not a small island there is a lot of money and opportunities in Haiti. I can assume the lottery guy make at least $5 M a month

Of course it has 24/7 power& water. If you can build a well and afford solar panels and inverters, you can have 24/7 power and water. Now groceries, they have a staff to take care of that. Domestic servitude is cheap in Haiti

Okay, I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS and want to see more.. but here's my opinion. Malibu? NO. Haitians, (no offence) just being real.. and if you look at the comments from people here you can agree also... ONLY LOOK OUT FOR THEMSELVES. Their own house might be nice, but 2 feet outside their properties is unpaved roads. You can't compare house to house, because the VALUE of LA real estate is that at the bottom, on the way to the bottom of those hills are PAVED ROADS, palm trees.. and massive amounts of property taxes which GO TO roads and other things in the community.. Not some crooked politicians SUV. The VALUE of Malibu houses is NOT the structure itself.. it's the THINGS that surround those properties. man there are mansions in rural parts of USA worth Nothing because the location sucks.. a 2/1 in MIAMI worth more cuz its got stuff around it. What will keep haiti poor forever is that selfish attitude, change happens AT THE BOTTOM.. in USA even poor people got a car and cell phone.. and paved clean roads.. that's how change happens.. you judge a place from the bottom UP.. not from the TOP DOWN.. and the problem in Haiti is the bottom is too much of the population because anyone who can get a foot up gets it regardless of who he has to step on to get it. Love Haitian People here in USA, love KOMPA MUSIC. But Haiti can't blame anyone other than other Haitians for their situation. Even my haitian friends be send stuff back home.. OLD STUFF thats garbage.. we send stuff to CUBA its gotta be THE BEST or decent at minimum.. what good is flooding a country with thousands of JUNK CARS and OLD clothes? my personal opinion, thanks for the drive videos DO MORE OF THESE specially with the conversations in ENGLISH inside.. LOVE IT. we do something similar here in FLORIDA. Haiti is top ten countries i'd love to visit.

What you need to understand is that the super rich in Haiti go out of their way to make sure the main roads leading to their mansions are not paved. This is how they keep the masses at bay. In some areas the super wealthy don’t even construct roads - access is only by boats, helicopter, and all-terrain vehicles. They specifically drive off road equipped SUVs.

You can stay where you or y’all at. We don’t need the negative energy here! We have too much problems to deal with as it is. These Americans videos are opening doors for haters who don’t like us for gaining our independence… and y’all still in slavery in America 🇺🇸! Therefore, I get it! Stop taking y’all frustrations out on Haiti 🇭🇹 haters! No one is comparing Haiti 🇭🇹 to America 🇺🇸-that would be insane! We’re just trying to say Haiti is not all trash like everyone is making it to be! It’s mostly people who are mad at our independence as a black culture who are hating on us. Pure haters 😂😂😏

I don’t blame you for believe in that, I was born and raised in Haiti and I was raised in those areas you guys were driving by, And my house was very similar to those houses, and I went to one of the most expansive school and I can tell u the way the country is setup is setting people up for failure, it’s almost impossible to get out of property.

One of the problems we have in Haiti is the stereotype, everywhere else use the best areas to represent their countries. In Haiti, they use the worse. This is a way of telling you, you're black and you can't do nothing right. NOT all rich person in Haiti works in government, not all of them are thieves. Most of these people are Doctors, Engineers, Architects, Lawyers, Artists, businessmen, professional members of the diaspora who moved back, and etc. They worked hard to afford their lifestyle. But, they are being criticized for being successful. We have to own the bad, but at the same time, look at what's good in order to replicate it.

That’s the blood of the youth, nothing to glorify! That’s the blood of my brothers sisters and cousins who died by the rich man’s gun! Beautiful or not it’s crucial for the true Haitians of Haiti!!! While some living luxurious most are dying from hunger and diseases that’s raiding the true Haitian population, for they own no millions and visas to great healthcare and school for they’re children!!! R.I.P to all the young students who got gun down in the street for protesting against hunger strikes and deadly diseases🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 It’s written that “the rich will get richer and the poor will die of hunger” in the Bible of the white Jesus, where it’s pictured evil is black and goodness is white, what is color?
