mike tyson was politer and more respectful person when younger, when he had not so much reputation and money, and he was also better boxer, it was very hard to hit tyson because he was always moving his head. but after becoming the heavy weight champ, things changed, people make him feel like he is a superhero, but his talents was the result of heavy traning in the gym. instead of moving his head and throwing the body punches , Mike stopped moving his head believing he was unbeatable, he also stopped the body punches, he trusted on his pure punching power, he tried to hit the head of the oponent so he would end the fight by knockout, but the young tyson used to go to do body first before hitting the head, because body punches make the opponent lose his guard and then Tyson used to go to head to finish. he could switch between body and head. it is very upset to see a young talented boxer losing his talents. Kevin Rooney and Castomado were also guilty because They never trained Tyson's mind. to control the fame and reputation, Tyson could not handle it. that caused him to become youngest hevy weight to loose the heavy weight title.

D'Amato dying was never the problem. Tyson had tremendous character, a result of years of patient development with good people around him. Don't buy into that resentful Teddy Atlas narrative that "Tyson never had character". Mike was handling everything fine, doing charity work, commercials, working for DEA, FBI, NYC police department. Then in 1988, Robin Givens and Don King, 2 very brilliant con artists destroyed him. From the Hector Mercedes fight in 1985 to the Michael Spinks fight in 1988, he and his team were making improvements, his original team from Catskill was perfect. After the Spinks fight, he lost all the good people around him because Givens and King broke Tyson mentally, and King replaced those professionals with thugs, bums, amateurs.
