Hey everyone! I wanted to do a video on how I got my Behind the 8-Ball down since @VFlips329 asked for a tutorial! Since there are lots of bt8b tutorials out there already, I figured I could share something fundamental to nailing a trick that goes beyond the specific movements.
I hope you find this video helpful, I am still working on improving my ability to record and edit videos. This one got cut down a lot to remove any redundant or distracting bits for the video to be the most helpful for you all!
Like what I'm doing and want to support my channel? Check out my Buy Me a Coffee page here: www.buymeacoffee.com/Benshami...
The trainer I am flipping is the Will Hirsch x Nabalis Vulp.

Nice tutorial, I agree with a lot of your tips but I did notice that you were doing your bt8b a bit wrong. Its supposed to spin around your thumb twice.

@benshaminflips Жыл бұрын
🤯 Wow haha, thank you for pointing that out!! I have taken a few extended breaks from flipping and I think I dropped that first spin around the thumb at some point after not doing the trick for awhile. It's a good thing I didn't make a tutorial for the trick specifically, but made it more general 😅 and I guess I ended up showing 2 variations haha. I'm glad you liked a lot of the tips I shared and again, thank you for pointing that out!

I see the pedals and amp...... You could pretty much rewrite this video as a how to learn songs too! Btw b8b was my first "advanced" trick too. But I was always too afraid to toss it around and finish it catching on the bite handle so I'd just stop it in an ice pick grip.....😂

I'm actually working on a video taking what I have learned from music and applying it to balisongs. There is a lot of crossover for sure! That is how I came up with the variation at the end. I was too worried about dropping it over hard floors so I would stop it in the pen grip. I later realized that I could throw it from there to finish the trick

@@maidenlonely1951 I think the Vulp is amazing especially for the price! If you don't yet have an aluminum channel balisong trainer and that is something you are interested in, especially if you just have really cheap trainers, you should totally get one if you have the money! There is nothing about how it flips that I wish was different, other than it not being super sticky with chaplins, but it's not that bad. If this is how you do BT8B, it's three steps and you're completely missing the second step. It's basically 3 rollovers, and you're only doing 2 while skipping the second one by only doing the first and third ones.

There are some actually pretty good ones on Amazon now, if you really aren't sure if you will like it or you want to spend the lowest amount of money possible, Nabalis has a pretty decent steel and g10 trainer for around $24. Of course if you were able to spend a bit more, the Nabalis Vulp (the one I use in the video) is a great option at $65.
