They are working better than therapy in trying to understand what happened and trying to understand why my ex is acting the way she is, like she does not care about hurting me. She acts like I have to understand that she threw away a 4 years relationship in 1 week. Hey Lee, just to let you know that your method has worked for me! I broke up with an ex over 2 years ago and went completely silent and let them do their own thing. I got to talking to them again recently and am now meeting up with them this week to see them. After all this time - I now know what i want and feel like a totally different version of myself after spending time with others and understanding myself more I will see how it goes. Even if things don't work out as i've said i've changed so much and am in such a better place than I was 2 years ago that either outcome I will be happy. Keep doing the no contact rule and it will work trust me! What you're describing is classic narcissism when they say they don't want to hurt you or they check on you to feel like a good person like you said usually it's not because they care about you they just don't want to feel guilty that's a narcissists Kryptonite and they are out looking for another host to feed off of to fill that empty hole inside of them that is a bottomless pit and will never be filled and when they get what they need off that one host they will move on to another one feeding off attention and validation never looking back at the path of Destruction they left behind aka the broken hearts that is narcissism also they come off as confident and try to assure themselves that everybody loves them and they are special but inside they feel the opposite

Me & my ex broke up at the end of March, her birthday was 2 weeks after & she popped up at my spot drunk. I looked after her & nursed her back to herself. Around 3 in the morning I noticed that she was ok as she scrolled through her phone. She actually stayed for about 2 hours before leaving. I didn’t say anything to her the entire time she was here. It’s true. I figured I would make the effort after 5-6 months of being apart, and it backfired bad, she put stalking charges on me so it’s hardcore no contact. Hand written letters are a joke, Facebook is nothing but torture, just gotta keep yourself busy, stay occupied, and honestly, go get your own self a rebound to help keep your mind off of your ex.

Hey Coach, I was in NC for 27 days, we are playing on the same volleyball league. After the brake up, we were just saying "hello" to each other.
