In this video, I'll show you the 5 exercises that I give EVERY student that comes to me for their very first lesson.

I have been looking for just the right Singing lesson course: at 9yo I lost my voice due to the trauma of my mother who, when she learned that I had a good singing voice(performing in elementary school productions), decided to "train" me by playing the records of the popular Hispanic opera singer at the time, she would smack me in the face hard whenever I did not reach the notes on the recording. In time I learned to "lose" my voice entirely as a means to escape the abuse. It has taken me years to overcome that trauma and even though I am over 50, I have made a vow to myself to recover my voice. I have found that this lesson has actually worked to help me regain my voice. Thank you, Ramsey, I will save up and pay for the beginner course as soon as I can afford to.

Trans girl here🥰 I came across this video and started thinking about glottoplasty, my friend advice me to try one last vioce coach before giving up after I spent so much money already on the big names, well I didn't want to but she managed to convince me, she knew I was fed up of trying too much so the surgery was my best option and I also hated going under the knifes since I was born with a very feminine body and just the organ was different... I followed through and signed up on a low price with Nature's Craft zoom classes( check my description for info) , I'm so glad I did this because I got to meet other transgirls and they so cool everything was done with fun, so much communication and understanding. I can talk with my female voice and switch to male voice, this really boosted my self esteem and self confidence.

I kind of slacked a lot on that front and by now noticed how singing makes me feel out of breath or tense. Love your lessons and reactions as well. If you want to try something new and amazing. A very different genre of music, very old but modernized for today's viewers. If you can analyze one performance may be you began to like it. You might be also opening yourself to a new musical world with new and exciting techniques, may be also helpful to you as well. You would be opening yourself a brand new audience who loves that music and I am sure would love your original take on it. Sometimes new thing provides a fresh perspective even if knew it before. I would highly recommend coke studio "chaap Tilak" and many others from coke studios (stand tall during singing😁 such see the video)

As someone with perfect pitch i never sang in my life till two days ago. I don’t have problems reaching high I struggle with low. After doing tests and asking singers around me they say im a Baritone type and have F#2-C#5 Vocal Range. I can mimic just about any sound hearing it once. I just lack breathing practice.

I am absolutely terrified of singing, even though i’m bad I really wanna at least sing karaoke with other people that also sing bad without getting a panic attack. Idk why im like this

My last year music teacher taught me this, it lasted for a while but now I forgot about it because she doesn't teach me anymore. Instead I'm learning marimbas because it's the only free music option in my school. I want to sing "Billie Jean" because Michael Jackson is one of my favourite music artists and this is gonna help a lot. R.I.P. Michael Jackson, you will be missed.

This video is hilarious lol I like the fake bad sounding voices 😂 thank you for this I want to learn how to sing. People have said I can be pretty good sometimes throughout my life but I never practiced or did any lessons. I wonder if I could become amazing if I practice. I’m gonna aim for it.

As a male who can hit the lowest, and highest of notes, I haven’t the slightest idea how to use this ability.

I've been singing heaps in class and at home because it's really fun last year I did a school concert and I was the "lead" singer and I have trouble projecting my voice it's almost embarrassing, and since everyone else in my school band has been working on their playing skill I feel like I should up my game as well!

I feel like I'll never properly learn, without me being anxious about if I'm being too loud, because I really don't want to disturb the neighbors. I often find myself having to suppress myself to be quieter, which ends up in me sounding terrible.

I used to be a soprano in the choir, but ever since I started testosterone, I haven't been able to hit any high notes. I'm hoping this will help

I'm also on testosterone, and I'm just starting to take my singing seriously! It's definitely disheartening. I can't hit such high notes anymore.

That was a pretty cool look into MJ's voice. Hearing him start low, then getting to the notes we're used to hearing, and going back down again.
