Your positive attitude toward mature women is so wonderful and uplifting for those of us who are at a point in our lives when we are searching to feel relevant. I am 72 in March 2024 and have found that taking care of my skin and wearing make-up tastefully applied lifts my mood each day. Lissa, I turn 71 in March 2024 and am embarking on a new self-care journey. Yes, initially, when you want to manipulate it into the perfect shape. After it dries it truly stays put. Best of both worlds. And very, very soft on the delicate skin of the eyes. I got it with her sharpener, as she suggests, and it works perfectly. Super eager to try other items now.

Hi everyone, just want to say that I tried the Shiseido cosmetic pads. I thought Nikol was exaggerating LOL, but it is absolutely amazing. It feels like a cloud on your skin. I happened to be at Marshals yesterday and they had 1 package so i bought it and tried it right away. So, OK Nikol from now on, I'll believe everything you say 🤣😂

I received the new BB cream last week, so have been using it every day. BAM! It is the perfect product! I would not be taking the time to write this review if I did not think so. I also ordered one of Nikol's lip sticks. Nikol: how is it so creamy but still lasts so long? Then, finally got the mascara thinking, Oh well...might as well try it. It also does everything Nikol said it's going to do,. This order gave me confidence to buy more from Nikol. BUT, if you can only buy one product, start with her eye primer first. You won't regret it. PS. I'm 76

Love this tutorial! I am constantly experimenting and love how you encourage us ladies to just be who we are and be our best! I am finding that, at age 70, we ladies must adjust our makeup in order to look our best. What we did at 20, 30, doesn’t work as we get older. But that doesn’t mean we have to look “old.” My husband has even commented on how nice I look and even commented that I look much younger than my age. I really believe that some of that is due to the changes I have made in my makeup look, not just the genes.

I love the simplistic look as a retired bold bald woman. I wear a bold lip to bring out my features. I must say, my 2 favorite products are your eyeliner to bring out my eyes that only have a few lashes and your new formula just peachy.

I love your videos! I am 78 years old. My husband of 58 years died 6 years ago. I found love again 2 years ago and he died in November so I have been terribly depressed. I need to start wearing makeup again and buy some new clothes and get out of this house! I have still been taking good care of my skin but I haven't been wearing hardly any makeup but I have pretty much been a recluse and I have to make changes. Great video for us gals looking for a simple put-together look. I just started using your eye primer, Just Peachy corrector, the BB cream, and the Creme Brule, and I love all of them! What I love most is that you don't have a gazillion shades of each product. Everything is very universal, which takes out the guesswork when trying to decide what to buy. I just got several of your products including the BB cream-I had a date the other night and basically did my makeup just like this. I don’t have many lashes but I had a sample mascara I got (oops a few years ago) but I never knew how to do mascara so it sat in my drawer unused. After watching a video from a few weeks ago where you showed how to use mascara correctly, I did it, and wow did it look like I have a lot of lashes! The brown eye liner pencil is fabulous, and I got one of your eye palettes and used it, not the crème brûlée but same basic colors. I use dark berry or blue-red lipstick so didn’t have a light color, but I found one that was a good neutral shade of brown-red, and used it. I dressed in NYDJ slim jeans, boots, tank and cute jacket, and went to my date. First thing he said was “you look good!” (Emphasis on good). His eyes definitely lingered on me deliciously. We started seeing each other slowly after we started talking a couple years ago when I was 55 lbs heavier, now I DO look good, though 45 lbs to go (he said later “why? You look great now”) and I AM perfectly happy where I am. I’ve never had this much confidence in my looks and body before! He is not a man of many words, but that comment came out and I was in heaven. This is my new look from now on! I still have to get your mascara, lighter lipstick, gloss, and color correctors, but they will only enhance what I’m doing. I used to use pinks, plums, blues and glitter on my eyes WITH berry glitter lips, now this look gives me so much confidence and I’ve never felt better, at almost 60! I’m so glad I found your channel and your products. I realized less is more, even my deep berry glitter lipstick, though fun and I still like it, enhancing my blue eyes and paring back the lip instead I think will be perfect going forward, though the berry lip is still sometimes fun. Perhaps showing one side of your face without the eye and face primer, concealer, etc and one with primer would show the importance of using primers and color correctors, etc. Love the new BB cream! Would love the eyeliner in taupe. Much softer look for some of us. I am all gray, as well, but the black and brown are way too heavy no matter how much it's smudged or softly applied.

I use a thick, tortoise-colored plastic "hair pin" very similar to the clear one you have. I got them in a package at either Walmart or Sally Beauty next to the wire hair pins. Prolly less expensive. I have long used blush as a quick eye enhancer versus eye shadow....super simple and easy for those of us that don't like a complicated beauty regimen. Not everyone needs sun screen. Some types of skin handle normal sun light very well. I've never used sunscreen due to not wanting an extra step. My skin is in good shape after all these decades here in hot, bright Texas! 😀

My husband prefers me with no makeup. So, when we go out, I use a naked look. Very light and neutral. If we go fancy or a party, I add darker around the eyes.

I have been using a simple look the last few weeks since I had surgery on my foot and ankle and I can’t put weight on it for 8 weeks!!! But I refuse to let myself go during this time! I renewed and restocked all of my facial and neck skin care, bought lots of new makeup, and brushes and everything that is recommended in tutorials. But once I’ve put the makeup on in as natural a way as possible, I seem to look older and more lined/creased than when I stay bare faced 😟 I don’t understand why I’m looking more aged once I’ve finished 😥 I’ve just decided that I wouldn’t bother again and thought I’ve wasted all that money, but here I am back again watching another tutorial 🤔😌

But, a few tricks and not a ton of heavy make-up and you look flawless! It is amazing how much better you feel about the day when you take a few minutes to take care of your face and body. I would love to see a tutorial on applying cream blush on different face shapes. I used to hear about using a triangle. It seems that you actually go further out on the cheek. I appreciate the time and effort that you put into your work for us and I love your products.

I used to love makeup and getting ready until I started having health problems diving headfirst into my forties but it was your Channel and you're wonderful words that led me to trying makeup again but the right way for my face so I didn't look bizarre and lo and behold it was glorious so I just want to thank you for what you do even though I could never afford all the lovely products that you show us that's okay cuz sometimes it's important to make do with what you have LOL but your tips and tricks are phenomenal and so worthwhile it is so so weird to watch our face age

Weird is right. Sometimes I look in the mirror and wonder where that young woman went. Then I look at my eyes and you know what, she's still there. I turned 71 last Friday (26th).

Thanks Nikol-I just received the BB cream and the Beach Glow cream blush trio and they are outstanding and I love how they blend into my skin to give me a beautiful glow. The bb cream formulation is fabulous. I have not had success in the past and I love yours. I also bought the concealer and learning how to apply it sparingly to my problem areas. I have not used a concealer in a while. Great formulation too. The bronzer as an eyeshadow is my everyday look. I love it. Thanks for all your tips. Your makeup and tutorials have given me confidence to wear makeup again. 🙌🥰

I love neutral shadow and eyeliner then I’ll take a colored shadow and smudge it over the eyeliner for a hint of color.

I purchased a bunch of items and am patiently awaiting for them to arrive! I'm 57 years old and for the first time have eczema. I've always used bare mineral and Arbonne skin care products. Never used their BB cream. This will be all new for me. I'm going to take your advice and try to do my eyes first. It's going to be a change! I'm not sure how I'm going to like it - the BB cream and cream blush. I never use creamy or liquid make-up. I also am not sure about the eye liner pencil either. I'm a liquid girl and love Stila. Cheers to something new in 2024.

I'm soon to be 73 next month. I've gone thru various phases of retirement malaise wearing sweats and not caring about my appearance and of course gaining weight! When you've grown up in the business world you feel free of the business suits and dresses (I refused to wear the standard Brookes Brothers look so I must say I was pretty chic). So I don't think it's uncommon to go thru the doldrums. In honesty I've been struggling with aging. I've known that I need to snap out of it. I've been working on my daily clothes so I look more put together. Skin care isn't an issue for me I LOVE skin care products; trying them and learning about all the new technology that's now available. Such Fun. Make up is an issue for me at this point in my life. I want to keep it simple. I've got wrinkles and of course crepiness around the eyes and hyperpigmentation (sun lover). Love your approach. Wondering if there is another color you might recommend than the browns from your bronzer that could be used for a simple day look? Brown totally washes me out! I know I'm babbling. I do want to say that I'm so happy to have found your tutorials ..... what I enjoy most is your attitude about life; encouraging women to be who they are not what's expected of them. Basically to be Free. I encourage young women tuning in to you that they listen to your message. I wish I'd had this resource back in my 40's but glad I have it now.

I have purchased most of the products in this line and they are as wonderful as they seem. The eyeliners are so soft and beautiful, I can’t tell you what a joy they are to use after trying so many that were hard and pulling on the lid. And the eye primer is perfection. I just got the BB cream and am excited to work with it. My only issue is I personally have deep wells under my eyes and even with moisturizing can’t seem to keep from getting that area to stand out. I’ll keep watching and hope for some tips on this area, I know I’m not the only lady who is experiencing this as she ages. Thanks Nikol, I’ve learned so much from your channel!
