Tough to fold a boat but if there's 2 pair on the table and you're holding the low pair as your high set you might want to consider it.

my family plays with “ante” where everyone has to put in the same predetermined amount to even be dealt cards! we sometimes start with the smallest value chip and then “up the ante,” adding higher value chips until we circle back to the smallest value. but this is usually does in like friendly settings so everyone is forced to play!

Great video, easy to comprehend. Let's say a 6 comes out on the river, if you're the player holding the pair of 6's (not knowing the other player has bullets) do you call? Is there a circumstance where a full house is too small?
@neilsmith25852 жыл бұрын
Typically you have to call full house, unless there is a tell from the other player before the river saying they might’ve also hit FH on the ace. Definitely an unfortunate situation but it’s the way of the road.

When raising do you always have to double your bet? Can you raise by just a little bit instead? Thanks dude, love your videos.
@AllAmericanCasinoGuide Жыл бұрын
The raise has to be at least equal to the previous bet/raise. So if a player bets 5$, to raise that you need to bet at least 10$. So in short, yes. This is not 100% always the case though it is the general "modern poker" rule.

Letting people see cards for free is a good mind game if you can manage it.

True! Although that's a bit of an advanced topic, so we didn't really get into it in this video!

If the player w the 6s went all in after the river, wouldn’t that signal that they might’ve had pocket jacks? What would you do at that point?
@jeremywright50369 ай бұрын
Well as the song says, you gotta know when to hold em, know when to fold em, know when to walk away and know when to run. So you have a really strong hand, it's unlikely anything is better so you should not fold. However, if the amount of money you already won is life changing then perhaps it was actually time to walk away cash your chips and leave before this hand even started. In the long run, you should win that hand more then you lose it, but that doesn't matter if you can't afford to lose in the first place.

I’m confused by the chips, you assigned arbitrary values to your chips, maybe you should have used the normal 1$- white, 5$ red 25$ green

Can’t believe you would tell people to play so aggressive with a monster hand. Clear from the betting that aces are on top. Bottom line you are guiding people to waste a strong hand.

Sometimes it's good to change things up, and represent a hand you don't actually have. Pays off from time to time, and doesn't allow the other players to get a read on you.
