You can really see that kimi no na wa was a coming together of the best parts of his last films (the animation (garden of words), emotional scenes and music and overal story telling ability) and something new which concluded to his best film to date in my opinion. He really did do the best he could at that time, can't wait for the next one

they are in tenki no ko aren't they but that's before they meet each other at the end of kimi no na wa, i think

@@noahnas1587 yes if im not wrong the events of tenki no ko happened in 2019...but at the end of kimi no na wa, taki and mitsuha meet in 2021.....i think the upcoming movie's events will most likely take place in the same universe, so fingers crossed

can we just appreciate this man, this movie is the combination of his experience and the product is a masterpiece. From the plot, the characters, the song everything, Not gonna lie this movie is more better than the end game...

About the part that revolves around Japanese pronouns, i'm wanting to study Japanese but never really committed but i did understand that part in the movie (watched sub) which really made me laugh.
