Wait. If Taki and Mitsuha meet each other after this movie (that is what he said), how the hell the weather was sunny at the end of Your Name? Is this not a misstep from him here? I assumed, when watching Weathering with You, that they would be a couple and that was after the ending of Your Name.

@@Danielwebb_ Yea it was pretty good! The voice acting is not bad at all. I watched it again in sub and I personally laughed more during the dub, so it gets points on getting the humor on point. They also played the english version of Is There Anything Else Love Can Do during the credits which was nice.

While he travels to Japan, Tokyo, they can animate his journey, finally when he comes to Japan with illegal ways, he had couldn't find a job as he's a illegal foreigner so he could become a homeless. We can see his empty, shattered past memories severally. He could help persons who lost their memories because of several ways, like Taki and Mitsuha. But when he revive some memories, he could put years of his body cells which could lead to aging fast or internally broken organs etc. He can see Mitsuha's sister when she goes to school with train station, and learn our forgotten love story and he could bring this memories to Taki and Mitsuha again. But this could be the last reviving memories process for dramatic ending for our guy.

But first, Kyoto needs to animate his past with a TV series, and final of series he will bring forgotten memories of our love couple, and when he dies for fast-aging he can remember his love for his favours. I dunno guys can you critize my plot, is it a good idea or not?

I like this. You should write a script for it or some storyboards. I would totally watch it. Keep developing the story!

@@richboss_ Thank youu. I was just thinking that i can start writing semi-light novel or smth else for this plot because of covid breakdown i have a lot of time for writing. I love writing but in job sector, there are low salaries, arrogant editor etc so i am doing this for hobbie. Thank you again for your support ❤️

@@segodnyash2011 You definitely should do it! Don't think about editors and all that stuff, just write whatever your heart tells you to. You can worry about those later and even if no one else wants to read it, I will. Your story definitely has potential!! ♥️

I have a feeling that Nagi (Hina's Brother) and Yotsuha (Mitsuha's Sister) might be the main character on the next movie oof jk

@@davidxd5924 - I don't know. Yotsuha is in High-school, as seen in near the end of Tenki no Ko, while Nagi is I think 9 yrs old. Most likely Hodaka and Hina will make a cameo like Taki and Mitsuha did on Tenki no Ko, much the same as Yukino sensei and Takao did a cameo on Kimi no Nawa.

It was after all the credits, before the movie started it said there would be a interview at the end.

I believe this interview was only shown if you saw it on the first two days (Jan 15 & 16) (this is for the US theatrical release)

Yes, M Shinkai confirms it. If you watch Weather with You. You'll notice when Mitsuha made a cameo, she's wearing her red ribbon. After the 3 year timeskip near the end when Honaka visits Taki's grand-mother, you'll see Taki's grand-mother is wearing Mitsuha's ribbon on her wrist. Presumably Taki and Mitsuha got married during those times.

both your name and weathering with you are actually taking place in different universe although there are scenes which confirms taki and mitsuha to be seen in 'weathering with you' yet its not like that. both the movies have no connection to each other

I think they meet each other when hina was sent to be sacrifice. Even this kinda doesn't makes sense too knowing there's no floods in tokyo during mitsuha and taki met each other. But that makes this make sense is when taki at starbucks it still rains afterwards snow was coming when taki and mitsuha passed by each other, that time also when hodaka and hina ran away the weather from raining turned out into snow.
