So we're going to talk about why silence kills men inside. Why your silence and your air of uncertainty kills them inside and gives you control over them, not negative control in terms of manipulation but there is a certain sense of anxiety like when you're waiting for something to be revealed when you don't know the outcome that suspends you and puts you in a space of suspended anxiety where you don't know what's about to happen. In that state people become more compliant, people listen to more of what you say. In general, you have more control over them right but the point of this is not to give you control over them but to allow you to see a man's real nature.

@@rahmasamir909 Hi @rahmasamir909: ...it might depend on how important that relationship is, and what you're trying to achieve. Relationships are like shaping a unique style, and take a lot of personal investment. Many times, we may not believe we have the time or tools to invest, but it might be the opposite. You could have the emotional "key" to unlock their door. Consider: 1. What is the value of that relationship to you...? 2. How long do you want it to last, or to what level do you want to take it...? 3. Who's involved besides the two of you...for example, teacher - student, platonic vs romantic friendship, mother - son...? 4...Why would you need to risk investing in it? For example, as a Facilitor/Counselor in the community, and especially working with certain types of youth, it is imperative for me to take those risks every day. It creates a bond of trust like no other. Youth share things with me that they don't tell their parents. Consequently, I'm able to develop a self-centered, codependent, hurting person into a more compassionate, considerate, more self- esteemed individual...all because I consistently invested in them. If I care about someone and recognize their state, I also see "beyond the veil," of deception, and can dive beyond the ego. Yes, there are those that I might not indulge with at great lengths at first...but even those youth and their families began to trust me, and get to bear fruit of a caring, trusting individual and family that can listen to someone other than themselves. This type of development is my ultimate goal inside and outside the classroom. As the infamous Field of Dreams movie says, "If you build it, they will come...❤"

Silence towards a man can be a powerful and effective communication tool. It can convey a range of emotions, including disappointment, contemplation, or the need for space. Sometimes, silence prompts introspection and encourages the other person to reflect on their actions or words. It can also assert boundaries and give weight to unspoken feelings or concerns, prompting a deeper understanding and potentially fostering more thoughtful communication in the future.

Listen to what he is saying. I went from being very ethical in the dating world, only focused on one man at a time... Now, I barely pay attention, to many men. They disrespect, I ignore, they apologize. Silence and not allowing them to affect your emotions brings them to their knees in droves. Legit, I've been proposed to 3 times in the past year. P.S. only talking, I barely ever put out, my vibrators are superior to most men's skills.

Silence is a psychological warfare approach. When you deal with these kinds of people you have to know when to be silent and when to not be silent. In some cases, your silence can even save you from danger because these kinds of people will wait to see what you have to say so they can USE IT AGAINST YOU. They use communication as ammunition to try to destroy you, not to grow with you. When you deal with these kinds of people, just STAY SILENT and WALK AWAY. Your silence is power and it can also convey to your enemy that you care so little about them that you don´t even bother with the communication because they are simply not worth your TIME and ENERGY, hopefully they will get the hint and leave you alone. Only apply communication with people who you trust and who you want to have as a part of your life.

Silence should not be a cause, it should only be the effect. Using silence as a “strategy” to get their attention is manipulative, no matter how you slice it. However, if you reel all that you’re casting out back in and focus it towards yourself or other people, places and things in your life who have already proven worthy, silence is a built in side effect. And built in will be your preoccupation away from them by doing so. Using silence as a strategy when they’re already divested from you and no longer gaf about you, will not only backfire. It will leave you in a vacuum as now they’re the preoccupied ones.

Silence is effective but abusive. Mature ppl express what they want and feel they don’t just go silent it’s used as a form of control no matter how you put it …the real control is expressing how u feel and moving forward after
@cheetahcat3940

It depends on why. If the person is only gaslighting and not being accountable with things they created, there is nothing wrong with disengaging from conversation. You can only tell someone so many times how you feel about a particular situation. When they come back and only gaslight or blow you off and want to deflect, you have the right to ignore them until they come correct. At that point they know exactly what they're doing or not doing.
@beg2482
@beg2482 6 ай бұрын
@@cheetahcat3940 ignoring isn’t ok for any reason… if that is the case just communicate to the person tell them how you feel and what actions your are going to take due to their behaviors. You can end contact in a healthy way.

I think it has to be used moderately. Otherwise it's just games. And generally in my life I love calm and silence. If it's quiet at night I love it. Isn't this strategy just kind of toxic? Of course if they take you for granted you have to. I love to be alone also. Maybe I'm just too healthy. I like certain love. Being on a cortisol-dopamin rollercoaster does not sound really healthy.
