@@ksramsheena5973 sitz bath and proper lubrication with Vaseline cured my fissure. I was also following some herbal medicine that I doubt will be available in your region.

I don’t have any issues with my bottom end (I’m not even sure why the algorithm sent me to your page but I’m glad it did). You radiate such compassion, advocacy, and humor, your patients are lucky to have you as their surgeon. If I ever do have a hemorrhoid issue I will see no other doctor than you for sure. If I had not found your videos, I would not have known to ask for experel. Kaiser where I am at doesn’t automatically offer it and in fact, my surgeon was told not to give it by the hospital administrators (even though other Kaiser’s do). Fortunately, I pushed for it and she ended up giving it to me. I am on day 4 recovering and feeling really great thanks to that and your other recovery advice. Thank you so much!

Dear Dr Chung, your videos are really helpful and informative. This is such a painful thing to go through. I have question though. What can I do to heal a thrombosed hemorrhoid if I sit most of my day because of my job? It was painful initially when the hemorrhoid developed but then the pain went away. Now it feels almost like a bruise and it hurts because of sitting for long periods. What should I do? Situation at work also doesn't allow me to take time off now. Will this heal by itself or is there a risk that it can get necrotic?

I have had rectal bleeding mainly when I strain and had colonoscopy last year which was clear . Now surgeon has said can feel potential inflammation and now got in my head it is cancer

Dr Chung. Recently a friend of mine went to China and he told me the toilets are very different there. He stayed with his fiancee and they had basically a toilet where you sat in a squatted position; just above the floor. He said he very quickly noticed his bowel movements were extremely easy. Should we be doing this ourselves?? And if so, how?

Hi doctor I had hemorrhoid surgery 4 days a go, and I've noticed a lump outside my bottom that looks like a hemorrhoid, It cant be a hemorrhoid that quick can it? And I'm having 5 to 7 bowel movements a day 4 days after hemorrhoid surgery is that normal, thanks

I had this and surgery for it. When all was said and done, I asked my doctor, an MD your same question. She said to take folic acid. That was all. Not sure if it would work for you, and I’m just repeating what she told me.

Doc, I have recovered from hemorrhoidectomy surgery. Thank you, your video is very useful. But somehow after the operation there was a small piece of skin stuck near my anus. Do I need to have surgery again to remove the skin?

I’m not a doctor or anything, but having recently just gone through the operation. It helps a lot having somebody there to help you do certain things that you probably won’t be able to do because you’re gonna be in a lot of pain. Again, speaking from myexperience, especially the first 2 to 3 weeks were kind of the worst weeks for me so it did help having somebody there. Hope this helps you with your question if he doesn’t response to your question.

Albert, I hope that I will never have to endure 'your' boney knuckles.... however, fate is a bitch. The video's you present are .... blunt and reassuring .... I do have an appointment a week out.... It should be good.... I will see from there. .... Alot of vids on this topic are not end user friendly. You have made a considerable effort... for many "agitated anuses" .... too blunt?
