Like how orange and red are different, but they’re still colors. I knew an Austin kid who was nonverbal but had fantastic eye contact. And you work with them? Meaning you’re providing care. So that means they’re autistic enough to require care, not all are.

I used to work at a casino, a regular would come in, he was in his 70s. He hadn't bought new clothes in years, also lived in an old Buick, in the climate of Eastern canada. It was sad, i watched him lose everything, Every week, His pension went to VLT machines. After a bit of small talk, I found out that his wife and himself years ago would come here together. She passed away, and the casino was the only place that gave him comfort. He ended up passing away himself in his car outside in the parking lot. I quit that job after a year. If you have a gambling problem, it's ok to get help. Much love ❤.

I hear you. I spent some time working at a casino aswell and it was tough to deal with some of the addiction. One interaction that comes to mind is when an older woman spent every penny she had on slots, then started screaming at my co workers and I about how we need to pay for her cab ride home because it's our fault.

I am diagnosed autistic and had a very lonely and rough childhood. When one has experienced such low's for so long then every high point can be so overwhelming that its addictive. I hope he gets therapy and some supportive friends plus finding a non harmful niche on YT.

Yeah there’s a reason why solitary confinement is considered torture. The loneliness epidemic more of an issue than ppl make it out to be. You kinda start loosing hope and the ability to care at some point. Apparently just a few days of solitary confinement are already enough to make someone go insane so becoming depressed or having other mental illnesses aren’t that far fetched when you have to go through it for years. At some point you just become unable to even form connections even when the opportunity arises which makes it so bad. It’s like depression at some point you forget what it feels like to be actually happy

I was diagnosed with autism when I was younger and used to act a lot like him. I was also born with such a bad speech impediment that my own mother couldn't understand me and I had to go through speech therapy. I imagine that's what he meant as it's fairly common amongst children with autism.

My youngest son (now 9) had a severe speech delay, he was pretty much non verbal for years, we did speech therapy, he also had to go to a speech school as well as his regular primary school, he has always been very sensitive (he is the most beautiful, affectionate soul ❤) he still finds it hard to tell if someone is "just joking" he believes what you say, and I can see how this guy could be definitely led into things.

of course i only have the context provided by oompa, but steve really just seems like a major people pleaser, which i see in myself (got the 'tism). he even mentioned being non-verbal as a kid. i just feel sorry for him, it seems like he constantly fell with the wrong crowd and got dragged down by them. having autism myself, i often just tried everything to appeal to my friends, even when they were bad to me, it's just hard to see "sense" when you constantly feel like an alien and have a need to belong somewhere. i hope he'll be okay.

Steve actually seems like a really nice guy he just has a substance and gambling problem. I think he'd be doing waaay better if he dropped the substances and gambling. I also think he needs new friends. I used to live in Nevada and ive seen gambling destroy people. A guy down the street from my dad's house built a 2 million dollar home. He lost that, everything else he owned, all his money, friends, and family. He then ended up taking his own Lfe. I worry that Steve is eventually going to go broke and loose all his friends, fame, and material things and then be at risk of loosing his life.

i think that thats the difference though - if he knew he was living off the 1 mill from the start he would live a slow paced, cheap life. where these people that get the money usually have some form of belief that they will be able to get more money, that they will never run out. which is why they typically spend big and also run out quick. people who win the lottery are a classic example, some of those stories are insane. my fav story is one where a dude was gonna commit s-u-i-c-i-d-e and then went to Mexico to spend all his money on hookers and blow but came back after having so much fun and decided not to haha - he didn't win the lottery or anything I just like that story.@@ajames7139

As someone who has autism and has seen many autistic kids like myself growing up, I can understand why he would think that. When I seen some of his actions and him saying that he might have autism and can see why from personal experience. Like trouble speaking at a young age & him saying that he 'feels dumber' is also somethings I can relate too at time, since autism causes developmental delays so sometimes act younger than I should be or I can't make any rational choices or have any common sense. Overall, whenever he's autistic or not doesn't matter to me I hope he does get some help. He seems more hopeful compared to other degenerates I've seen.

@@Mulletforhirehe’s even currently running a “Tesla giveaway” that’s a total scam. In one of his gambling streams he says they are pushing back the giveaway because he lost too much money 😂. You had to buy raffle tickets to enter the giveaway and now it’s just pushed back indefinitely. He also took Dana White’s money that Dana said he needed to give it away to chat and he decided to gamble it instead when Dana was gone he lost it all $5000 in one hand. 😂

He is actually a really nice dude met him at a bar and some guy was putting his hands on some girl him and him and his security broke it up and paid for her drinks and a nice hotel room for the night in New Orleans. The women was around 60 I’d say and the dude was maybe 30 at most. Also no camera or anything was filmed “for content”

I’ve been a fan of the nelk boys and Steve for awhile I’d love to see Steve back when he’s not gambling he does give money and seems like a great dude to be around but he feels like he also has his own struggles and is young and learning I think other circles than Nelk probably wasn’t the best for him but I hope he makes a comeback would love to see the Kyle, Jesse, 905 and Steve reunion

Those car giveaways turned into a big scam. Several winners within 2 miles from where they announced the winners, those reactions weren’t genuine. And a ordinary citizen can’t afford insurance on triple figure sport cars

Tbh i think youtube just always hated steve because his early content was crazy/dangerous drinking and drug challenges and they wanted any excuse to get rid of him. From what i remember he wasnt even doing any gambling content on his main channel and his content for a while before he got deleted was very wholesome, it was like a drunken, more chaotic mr beast. It was pretty much just him surprising people with money, cars and other gifts.

My wife's best friend died from binge drinking. On her 24th birthday, she did 24 shots of hard alcohol. She ended up with "wet brain" and died 4 days later. This guy could end up in the same boat or in liver failure before the age of 40. I hope he wises up. Drinking moderately is totally fine but slamming bottles of whiskey will eventually destroy him.
