I think it’s his best ever trick, and my pick for the best backside flip ever, as well. The tre/kick are crazy but I feel like somebody like, say prime Jeremy Wray could’ve done those, but Tyshawn is the only dude who’s got that bs flip. Also the mid air steez during the bsf is beyond compare.

In my experience waxing your trucks is the best way to approach the delicate and controversial art of waxing ledges and coping. The wax gets where it needs to be for your trick and nowhere it doesn’t, and nobody can say shit

I'm thankful my area finally got a shop thats run by a new orleans OG that will get you in whatever you need and stays stocked. Everybody understands getting what you gotta need but unless I'm in dire need I'll wait and support the homie. I just dont like being sold skate gear by non skaters, they might ask what size bearings I need or sumn. off topic I'm just thankful we finally got a community. Shoutout to Tomahawk in West Monroe

As someone who can treflip and bs flip, id say the tre is definitely harder to do over a gap because its just harder to lift the board and get more airtime with a tre

Naaa I’ve treflipped flat gaps and yes it’s harder to pop a tre high, but all u rly gotta do is just go faster and then u won’t even have 2 worry about popping it high

bought two decks from zumiez when I got back into skating because they were on sale/clearance. the local shop didn't have those graphics in stock. then I took those decks to the local shop to set up because I knew they'd know better than me and zumiez what would suit me best. We can pay to our own benefit and still support the local shop. Even with music gear... you gotta step into guitar center sometimes and smell the corpo despair lol

Skate wax is a high profit margin item for the local skate shops. Its a cheap lil thing that a teenager can buy from a shop if they want to loiter there but can't afford a new deck or whatever. Helps keep them in business, I don't want to be buying shit from CCS.

3 flip is Harder to control and commit to. Backside flip is very forgiving and you benefit from the push of the 180 turn to project you over the gap. 3 flip is just do or die.

Backside Flip definitely harder than a Tre Flip, backside 180 tricks are really awkward in general so I can’t imagine it with a gap that big, that might be a personal thing though. My personal favourite to look at is the Kickflip though.

yo this a hot take twin but i feel like the kick flip may be the wildest trick. with the bs flip, his switch rollaway was insane but you gotta think he is leaning towards the gap hard on approach. the kick flip was frontside had required different momentum and i feel like even the tre flip might be less crazy cuz you’re flipping the board again ultimately towards the gap and now away from it. kick flip was just straight tf up

i stay in a very small town in GA. I don’t have a local shop so sometimes I gotta go to a Zumiez near by, closest local shop is an hour away but the Zumiez is like 30 min closer. Gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes. My Zumiez tho always got out dated shi

Personally, for a flat gap that is long as hell, I would rather do bs flip. Tre flips are easy but once the gap is hella far, a bs flip becomes a little more favorable because there's more upward motion along with the 180 giving you extra distance to cover since you have to level out and rotate. A high and long tre flip takes a lot more effort out of your back foot but knowing tyshawn, this is light work for him which explains why it went straight to the gram. I think switch flip should be the next banger

backside flip looked best to me and hands down has hardest landing. but doing it on that angle in regular, you get a little extra bs drift distance to make the gap easier vs kickflip or tre. personally tre's feel hardest to throw as far as you can with the speed you can get, which seem to me to be the hardest parts about these clips.

Tre forsure you can throw backside flips out far if you got a good one. Its way harder to pop a tre high than a backside flip and he didnt have to do it the hard way it was perfect set up for him.

Nah I think the tre flip is harder. You’re just hauling ass and basically throwing a Hail Mary. Tyshawn hits the gap at an angle that makes any backside 180 trick easier than any other trick where you just go straight at it, think of how it’s easier to 180 over some things, or over distances, than to ollie straight over it.
