The ban list that actually tells you when the list is coming

The competitive scene notwithstanding, if you want an idea as to whats going to be hit next in the TCG, I'd take a look at Rarity Collection 2.

It really does feel like the OCG side of things is using parts of the limit and semi-limit list, as some kind of 6-9 month watchlist to either move cards closer to being outright banned or move up cards from 0>3. Littleknight and Beatrice will likely be banned come the Oct list.

Konami realized floodgates are bad yugioh after that board meeting last year. We've been seeing floodgate hits since then in either TCG or OCG.

Hot Take: The reason why Snake Eyes was so busted was because it was created as a way to circumvent Ash Blossom. Ash Blossom warps game design. It's time for its giant forehead to go.

Gimmick Puppet of Strings, while I agree the combos they do is linear, Gimmick Puppets can also OTK reliably from 1 or 2 cards and unlike the ftk, it doesn't need 2 or more strings to do it, so I think the deck is still playable, but mainly as a OTK deck with lots of room for non-engine similar to Tenpai. To me, Strings to 1 is a good hit. Beatrice though... should've been banned straight up. All decks that use fiendsmith engine only play 1 beatrice so this hit is bad.

format aside, catapult turtle is the 2nd card to be banned despite having an errata

The Beatrice hit feels like when they put Calamities to 1 for some reason.

Pay attention to the OCG banlist because it will effect Master Duel later.

The most likely reason Beatrice and S:P were limited is OCG likes using the banlist as a way to signal that they have plans on banning cards later on. They usually do this more with newer cards as they'll get harsher backlash in OCG than TCG. They're less inclined to do it with older cards, although they might still do it.

Zues to 1 makes sense. I've had so many games involving Zues where my opponent summons multiples of him.

I love the DRs to 2, even though the state of the game right now they arent gonna do much in terms of meta play, but the rest of the banlist hits so many things... yet does very little.

Cap do you not have a translate to English option for your web browser instead of guessing although your quite experienced in the game at the very least you can make it translate the names and info as what if a errata was done on this list how would you know what it does other then searching for it specifically

All I want is for Konami to once in their life, make sense and do mayor bans. 1. Limit handtraps. 2. Massacre these decks like Snake Eyes and other decks like this. 3. Make it so that decks with actual limitations in their cards (Exosister, Rikka, etc.) are viable, instead of these decks that are build to go through multiple negates and handtraps. 4. Ban a lot of those generic extra deck monsters (think Verte, Zeus or S:P Little knight). I know it will never happen, but this is the only way to make Yugioh playable, and not go through the endless circle of power creep, building decks to bypass handtraps etc., lower class decks suffering due to overpowered decks using generic boss monsters etc.

I hope our come out soon what I want to see get hit is snake eye Tenpai field spell. Need to go least at two. Puppets for sure. I want to see some floodgates come back, bc some rogue decks Can only rely on shifter and floodgates stay in the game if any floodgate need to come back at least bring back that can only be one at 3

IMO limiting extra deck cards doesn’t do anything. I know there were people playing little knight at 1 but I don’t think it will change much. Beatrice is also already a 1 of anyway.

I guess we gotta wait until after their competitive season ends before they even discuss Maxx C.

11:20 Tbf, Poplar is already played at 2, Bonfire is at 3 on the deck and let's be real, that's a RotA for pyro so it needs to be threated as one right now. Semilimit feels fair enough up, at least until Snake-eyes becomes rogue.

S:P on her own isn’t much of an issue, but it’s annoying when used with I:P in going first strats, S:P could have made a really cool going second card, but was designed super poorly

Ash is not going to get hit because it just got an Ulti. So its very unlikely imo. Beatrice to 1, jokes .. should be banned everywhere. Well for Summon Limit and Skill Drain ( i think its going to 1 or banned even in TCG), you still have Summon Breaker and Powersink Stone. I think I:P gets banned over S:P, when that time comes. For TCG i would love to see the DRs at 2 and Glow-Up Bulb at 1. Plushfire got a hard OPT on its monster effect. Also why does Konami print a Temu version of Maxx C but doesnt ban Maxx C? I'm tired of seeing both Maxx C and Ash Blossom together in MD, one should go imo. For TCG i hope Snake-Eyes gets hit, Kash engine gets hit, Beatrice/Sanctifire/Calamity banned, Electrumite/SKSV/Glow-Up Bulb come back. I think Zoodiac should also get cards back. Since people want to argue about something thats gets banned from RC2 : I would guess I:P and Skill Drain + Crossout Designator to 1.
