I feel like conan was hurt by the fat joke and Andy was shocked, but decided to roll with the punches and turn it into something better, like he does best. Conan was trying to respect his friend, and Andy goes "nah, I got this" and turned it around, like he does countless times on the show.

I think these two knuckleheads put way too much thought into a 5 second moment that neither of the actors involved even remember. Two fat guys joking to each other about being fat. Wow, so offensive. I'm sure Andy was inconsolable after that. It happened in seconds I don't think Conan even had time to think of all that. The fact we've all spent this much time on it is asinine.
