I F**king LOVED Zachary Quinto's Spock. Leonard was the original, the prototype Vulcan and forever will be alone on his pedestal as the one and only greatest. That said, I think the re-envisioned Spock that Zachary did was perfect for the flavor of reboot films. With Leonard's Spock, there was a palpable stoicism, like there might be some heavy emotion deep down, or not! With Zachary's Spock, he seemed more tightly wrapped and we all knew he was keeping deeply felt emotions in check. I love both for very different reasons and in the end, they are both able to tell a compelling story, through a very compelling character, that keeps me engaged and makes me glad I came along for the ride!

I still cry as soon as I start thinking about and talking about Mr. Leonard Nimoy.. As a kid growing up with TOS in the mid to late '90s between the ages of 3, 4, and 5 Spock was my favorite character who at the time I always thought he was the coolest looking one and I wanted to look like him🙂Looking back in retrospect I remember feeling like he was my Friend.. and the Brother I wish I had who'd I'd strive to be 🙂 I'm 26 years young and Spock as well as Mr. Leonard Nimoy will be forever a part of my Childhood as well as my life and as I said on the day he left this Earth and went up into the Sky and beyond the Cosmos, I have been.. and always shall be.. your Fan🖖

Quinto, like Nimoy, brings a LOT of gravity to his appearances. Colbert is very sensitive to what his guests bring, and to me usually seems to work with that. I wonder if that was Quinto's own thing, or he learned it from Nimoy. Either way, I love his acting :D He seems like a hell of a good fella!

Zachary Quinto is a class act. His version of Spock is quite different from Lenard's but equally enjoyable for different reasons.

When I first saw him in Star Trek, I've almost liked him. But after seeing him in Heroes, I fell in love with him which finally grew into an attachment.

+Down Haven Entertainment He was being sincere. Quinto has spoken at length about all the time he spent with Nimoy and how much he meant to him. They became very good friends.

I'm still really upset at heroes ending early, they left me on a friggin cliff hanger and I was dying for them to continue but it's been like 6 years since the show was last aired

I was very unhappy with Jar Jar (Lets Blow Up A Planet!!!) Abrams reboot of Star Trek but - the cast did a good job of the movies - though I didn't care for the plots so much. For Quinto, he was so good in Heroes that I really hated his character and wanted that character dead. It was a major let down for me when that character was not killed in the season finale (though, of course, they weren't going to kill off such a cash cow).
